Thankfully this video made me realize that the previous owner most likely installed a Detroit locker in the rear of my truck. A lot of information about the different types of lockers on Flash Off-road’s website. I will say tho that while there are some very minor side effects of having a Detroit locker in the rear, I have not noticed any dangerous situations driving with it on road for 6,000 miles (didn’t even realize I had one installed for 6,000 miles either if that says anything). From what I’ve read, not a good idea to have one installed on the front tho. The modern Detroit lockers are supposedly a lot smoother than the old ones. I do have a 1997.5 (T1) FYI

Ryan’s knowledge is unreal. Such a good asset to have as a Hummer owner. Predator has been great customer service for me for almost 6 years now

Looks like Barstow. Powerline drive. Thanks for the explanation of the different transfer cases. I always though they were all BTM. I will need to double check mine to see what it is.

12F/10R psi dmaxin through glamis on military baja ta's Also you don't need 100% torque to lock a torsen diff. I just drag the brake a little and apply more brake pressure as needed. And keeping the transfer case in low range will keep trans fluid temps down.

The running hardware looks ok, but the control system looks really primitive! The Australian AIR CTI hardware is much easier to use, tracks the target within 2psi and has different alarms for problems, such as a slow leaks. I have been running it for several years now.

So im assuming BTM uses the Torsen differentials? I know in the front of the h2 it has a Torsen and in the rear it has a locker. How do you get the Torsen to lock up? Does abs do this for you?

Yeah, it's awful. I don't know why terrible music seems to be such a popular trend for informational videos.
