Wow, thank you for explaining to us that falling consumer prices are a bad thing. Now everytime I go to the supermarket and see eggs from $10 to $3 I will be worried.. lol 2% inflation mark was meant to be a ceiling, not a goal.. if inflation got to 2% that was when governments were meant to start panicking and take control of inflation, it was never meant to be a target.

How increase in supply results in deflation?
@benjamingladinathor6862 жыл бұрын
Probably meant: having too much supply that you can't get rid off, causing that you have to drop your prices in order to get rid of your product.

@@benjamingladinathor686 nike going this right now - to much inventory - must cut prices to move product..

All of your consequences of deflation promote more responsible financial behavior. Deflationary spiraling is a myth. The economy will continue and consumers will be thrilled to have the ability to buy a good with cash rather than on credit.

@TheChurchman Deflation doesn’t cause anything. It’s a symptom of a declining economy. The government printing money doesn’t change the fact that the economy is declining and certainly doesn’t change the impact of someone losing his job. It simply changes the consequences. Now, the unemployed get to buy more expensive goods and businesses are forced to get rid of more employees. It’s far better to take a pay cut during a recession and know you’re buying goods that are deflated than to lose your job entirely and pay for inflated goods as well.
