LOL I'm trying to be! And not all of the MQMs rollover but a percentage does (in a normal year). But miles you accumulate never expire. But during the pandemic all MQMs have been rolling over.

This was so very helpful. I’ve always wondered how Delta Airlines operated in regards to their perks with this program. I love flying Southwest or United when working. Delta is always so expensive to me but I’ve heard it’s well worth it. Thanks for sharing this ❤️

I will most definitely look into Delta when I start flying again. I have always used Southwest when flying but I have taken needed to in years. Seems like the rewards are definitely something I could use. I didn't know that had a reward program so I learned some new stuff today!

Hi! Love your video! I booked my flight through delta and I have 1 stop to get to the destination. However, my first flight is partnered with delta and will he checking in from there. I was wondering if I will still be able to receive the first baggage free if I am silver medallion.

Sorry I’m just now getting to this as I’ve been traveling myself! But usually they work together and if all booked on one ticket, it will be checked to your final destination. But there are exceptions of course lol. For example, say you book a flight with Delta and part of it is operated by AirFrance. Since it’s on the same ticket, your baggage will be booked all the way through. But if you are flying back into the US from an international destination, your bag will be checked through BUT you have to collect your bag at customs and send it back through. But if you are ever in doubt, I recommend asking the flight attendant on that flight for assistance on what to do.

If you have the delta platinum card and always fly delta comfort then silver status is not worth it.... even with status upgrades are not guaranteed and delta comfort board after first class, platinum card gives u free check bag

Thanks for sharing your experience! When I had the platinum card, I usually still purchased economy seating and would get upgraded to comfort + or first class at times. But it also gets paired with the medallion status. Higher medallion status and the credit card helps. But I have the Reserve now that obviously gets higher selection over the platinum card and again the higher medallion status helps.

This is timely! I almost always fly with Delta Airlines. I was wondering if I should try to upgrade my status. I got to experience the PUJ Airport Lounge and my friend told me that Delta has similar lounges in Atlanta and throughout the states. I don’t want a new credit card though.
