If that's the only thing you want to do i.e Cast video from Apple TV to Projector and sound to the Sonos System. Well then there is a provision for the same in many devices called HDMI Passthrough. Generally many soundbars have this feature. For Eg. let's say Apple TV connects to the Soundbar then the Soundbar retains the audio signals and passes to the video signal via another HDMI Cable which connects the Soundbar to the Projector or TV. This way you won't need a switcher. Though ensure you sound system has the HDMI passthrough option.

Connect your hdmi port from your projector to the “hdmi in” port on your sound bar. The. Connect a second hdmi wire from the “hdmi out” port to your tv

Hi there. I have two different android boxes. I connect them to an HDMI switcher so I can choose which one to show (there's a reason why I want to do that instead of plugging them to 2 different HDMIs on TV). Because I don't want their signal to just one TV but 3 (I have the hdmi cables ready) should I also buy an HDMI splitter so it produces 3 output connections (3TVs)? If your soundbar or projector has HDMI ARC then it will retain the audio and pass the Video information to the projector and vice versa in case of ARC in projector. Watch this video to know more about HDMI Arc - kzbin.info/www/bejne/mGWakoiAj62agrM Brief steps mentioned below - Plug your Fire TV Stick or Fire TV Cube into a non-ARC HDMI port on your TV. - Now that the ARC or eARC port is available, connect the included HDMI cable to your soundbar and the ARC or eARC port on your TV. - Set the input on the soundbar to HDMI.

@@sunlns Switcher is a bad idea. If firestick is plugged in to the projector then check if you have a optical out audio connection on the projector. You can use it to connect the soundbar for audio. There are also optical to HDMI converters available if your soundbar only has HDMI connectivity. Here's an example for the Sonos Arc mentioned in their connectivity guide. www.sonos.com/en-us/guides/arc

Your question if we clearly understand is that you wish to connect two monitors to your Laptop. So you'll have 3 screens ( 1 laptop main display & 2 different monitor screens). If your laptop has two HDMI Ports you'll be able to output displays to two monitors. If your laptop has a single HDMI port, unfortunately you'll be only be able to connect a single monitor. One tip to connect a extra monitor would be trying out a USB-C to HDMI cable if the laptop has a USB C port. You can read more about this on forums discussions.

i have 3 TVs with HDMI ARC and a soundbar with HDMI ARC. I want to be able to switch the AUDIO between the 3 tvs to the soundbar. It's for football season.
