The new comet doesn't have the disgusting flags that all the tuners have now. The new comet accelerates faster because it's actually using all of its rpm range, while the comet s2 is shifting at much lower rpm

In my opinion, the comet s2 should've got a drop top roof option at Ls customs instead of this. An example of this is Banshee. Drive one to ls customs and check roof options. And there is one for that car.

The Comet S2 Cabrio’s roof is a canvas roof which can be folded/unfolded at any time by pressing a button though, unlike the Banshee where the roof is a separate piece of metal (or fibreglass, or carbonfibre, or whatever the Banshee is made of) which can only be taken off/put back on at a garage; those are 2 very different kinds of “convertible” roofs.

Comet cabrio introduce completely new type of the body . In the first S2 roof is one full piece of metal ,u can not remove it . On the banshee unlike it's just an add on, separate piece ,same on rt3000 if u know.

You've got the regular s2's price wrong, without the trade price it's 1,8 - 1,9 mil. Also the s2 Cabrio might have faster acceleration because the Tuners nerf doesn't apply to it, it handles like the regular s2 before the nerf.

The S2 was nerfed tho. I like how rockstar re-released the S2 as a cabrio but basically gave it pre nerfed performance. Minus the tuners stance. And then make it more expensive than the S2 if u have the price for it

Got my S2 cabrio yesterday and it’s my favorite car now haha I find most of the s2 customizations that aren’t available for the convertible version pretty tasteless anyway, so it’s not a loss. It’s a Porsche at all, it has to be classy, not riced out

im not sure if you know of how many other people know this. but if you apply the smooth spoiler i think its called, its actually an retractable spoiler option. it works like the T20 spoiler when you slow down, the spoiler will pop up. hopefully you will see this comment.

@@duss6004 Thanks. I just found that out by watching another youtube doing a review on the Comet S2 Cabrio when they applied the big ducktail spoiler. Even the youtuber who noticed the spoiler moving with that ducktail option, was also surprised. Because usually with ducktail spoilers or even with a little lip spoiler, they aren't combined with/on the retractable spoilers. So that's why i only thought it was just the smooth spoiler option which makes the most sense.

While I do like the S2 the S2 Cabrio is a refreshing take from the porshes we have in game already. Although I really want them to expand away from the 911's we already have. I'm hoping for James Dean's "little basterd" 550 spyder to show up in the game.

its a good car, my friend bought it, but i think sometimes rhe roof is bugged, because as a passenger for example, I do not see the roof down, when its actually up. AND if you drive the car when this happens and try to open/close the roof... well the animation stops

Cabrio Differences (in detail) -New handling flags applied to the Comet S2 was forgotten with this vehicle, allowing mid-drive boosts, addition speed from downhills, bumps and curbs. -Extra gear, 8 gears instead of 7. This is why the acceleration is better because the gears aren't as long -Engine power value is slightly higher -Slightly more drag, but this isn't enough to make an adequate difference to performance. -Brake force is slightly better by only .01, you won't notice the difference. -It's 100 kg heavier. The additional weight makes the car feel more planted for extra stability. These difference have minimal effect with the performance. The first 2 are the most significant.

Handling flag was not "forgotten". There was just no point adding it to this car since it was made to "fix" the speed glitch on lowered tuners, n this car cant be lowered like tuners

All tuner cars were nerfed when the Contract DLC was released. The tuner car is given a handling flag that stalls the engine during overrev. If this flag was disabled, it should have exactly the same performance and handling.

Well the s2c has a few performance upgrades that the s2 doesn't have. It has an extra gear and is 100kilos(about 225 lbs) heavier so it would handle a little different than the original s2 without flags.
