Iboru, Iboya, Ibosheshe My only quam is the amount of life force that these systems require at times. For example Yahweh says that the flame at the altar should never be extinguished. This flame was constantly consuming a calf, turtle dove, pigeon, human ect. For the sins/success of the people. Likewise I've witnessed and read about an uncomfortable amount of life force being "offered" to these frequencies/orisas for the same. I believe humans are capable of doing what we do without a predatory system. Until then Ase

I know what you mean. I feel that there has to be a way which we could use plants instead, since plants are essentially so powerful in energy and life that they are consider medicine and they are literally everywhere where humans are. Such medicinal properties have to mean something and can be used as offerings. I had a lot of luck using fruits and candies as offerings, as well as vegan jerky. I think because so few offer vegan jerky to Elegua and Eshu they love it as a special treat. Then again I give it from the heart since I had nothing to offer on that Monday and I asked them for forgiveness and not to take the offering as an insult, but as something because I had nothing else to give. Fortunately, for us all, Elegua and Eshu will eat anything and everything given. Though they seem to really love the stuff, because I had a few blessings occurred for me in the pass for weeks (unexpected money coming in or extended time to paying bills, etc)... not a set of dramatic blessings, but enough to show that they appreciate what I do with what I can with what I have. Things that show there are forces around doing its thing. Ase.

Ebo cannot be marked in a palm reading. This can only done by the recognized oracles within the spirituality of Ifa being that “Ebo” is a Yoruba word and an Ifa concept. It should also be done or supervised by the initiated.
