Stroke is a distance that piston covers from TDC top dead center to BDC bottom dead center. When a piston moves from TDC to BDC or Voice Versa it complets one stork...either suction compression power or exaust accourding to the firing order.

Mr.PHD EPB can be engaged without depressing the breaks it can even be engaged right after turning off your vehicle. Break Hold can be engaged/disengage even in "D" mode...
