SBI Sensex ETF has very low volumes in trades (4145 shares on Oct 30, 2020) compared to Nippon Nifty Bees ETF which has 16 lakh shares traded on Oct 30, 2020. Similarly, UTI Sensex ETF also has very low volume trades (1540 shares traded on Oct 30). Should one avoid such ETFs which have low volumes but still has good AUM ? Also, can you clarify whether is is better to invest in Index mutual funds when compared to Index ETF as liquidity crunch seen in low volume ETFs is not present in Actively managed funds?
