Our agency switched to FN in FY 2020. Thankfully, instead of abandoning our Verizon based notification system, we kept it as a backup adding redundancy until FN it could be assessed in real time. We're glad we did as AT&T FN to be abandoned soon.

yea idk what you're talking about "to be abandoned soon" you said that a year ago and i just got hooked up with it, they're promoting it big time it's here to stay and likely growing in reliability as time and technology improves. the thing about having a firstnet sim card over standard verizon is when large scale major events happen the phone lines get flooded - as happened in 9/11 and countless other times - and the systems get overloaded, meaning phone calls and texts and especially date is unusable. if that were to happen firstnet gets priority obviously. if you have everyday verizon your cell phone is just another one in the masses.

Look what's happening now in Nashville, Firstnet is completely down. TACN public safety radio system never went down as it has multiple redundancy unlike Firstnet.
