Growing in numbers in the church doesnt mean that all that is in there is really born again christian. For me, quality is more important than quantity unless that church is always depends on money. I am a young person and nakilala ko si Lord gamit ang isang G12 church in our city. All I can say is that I will never know the Lord and even be interested in the Word of God kung hindi dahil sa mga radical sa church na ito. And all I can see sa mga G12 church ay they put emphasis on winning people and discipling them the way Jesus them. All other churches in our city are focusing on their members inside and doesn't even bother to look for the lost. G12 is a strategy for church growth, I cannot understand how it became a cult. Brainwashed? No. Before you call people/organization names maybe you should contemplate on the impact it is making. Winning people to Jesus is never wrong.

I came to know Jesus last 2010. because someone share the of God. under the system of G12. Marami po ako naririnig. kaso binabalewala ko po yumg issue na negative about G12. Sa totoo lang po, grabe yung ginawa ng Lord sa buhay ko at sa family. not because of G12. but because of the movement na madala sa Lord ang mga tao NEED si Jesus. Now, I am one of the Primary leader in our church after 8years. At MASAYA akong nagserserve. kasi wala naman masamang tinuturo. :) And about discipleship, I am enjoying it. lalo na nakikita mo mga taong nababago din at ginagamit ng Lord. again, its not the g12. We thank God for the system na nilagay niya. So that, may sinsundan kaming process. Thank You Jesus. :)

Saan sa Bible na sinabing ang goal ng mga disciples e "world conquest"? "Go and make disciples of all nations" ang sabi, it's not about conquest kasi sabi din ni Jesus na "you will be hated by the world because of Me", the world will hate His followers because they are not of this world. Saan sa Bible na sinabing lahat maging disciple? Namiss nya yata ang Romans 12 at 1 Corinthians 12. Ang sinasabi ay ang priesthood ng lahat ng believers, ibig sabihin lahat pwede ishare ang Gospel message, hindi yung kailangan meron ka ding 12 disciples of your own. May 12 disciples si Jesus pero hindi nya command na dapat may 12 disciples lahat ng believers, wala sa Bible na kinailangan ni John, Paul, Peter, etc. ng 12 na disciples, pati ang mga sumonod sa kanila gaya ni Polycarp. Sa mga early Christian writings wala kang mababasang ganon. Isang kahambugan na parang sabihing may namiss na modelo para sa church ang mga early Christians na nadiskobre lamang ngayon ng G12, na mali ang discipleship ng mga ibang Christian brothers. Fact is direct revelation daw ni God kay Castillanos ang G12 system na yan na importante daw para sa churches ngayon. Meaning extra Biblical message from God. Bakit hindi yun ang sabihin "pastor" na yan sa lahat lalo na sa mga siniseminar nila? At saan sa Bible na sinabing kailang ng different stages ng "Encounter" sa buhay ng isang believer na required para sya ay maging disciple ayon sa G12? At saan sa Bible na sinabing kailang ng believer na magbigay ng pera kung ikaw ay bagong recruit ng isang "disciple" o sasali sa seminar at iba pang gathering ng movement na yan? Indeed, G12 is more about "conquest", "growth/paglago/quantity", "prosperity/success", "money" than about Jesus of the Bible and preaching of faith, repentance, and the undeserved grace of God through Christ our Lord for us sinners. P.s. kayong G12, kung talagang about Jesus kayo, mag-evangelize kayo ng mga talagang lost souls, yun ang totoong challenge sa inyo. Hindi yung pupunta kayo ng ibang churces at dun magrerecruit ng members nyo, worse, gagatasan nyo ng P500 each kada punta nila sainyo.

I'm on a G12 church. But I don't really feel the way they emphasis their doctrines. Let's get real about this. Those G12 churches without a single doubt has bigger members than those that are not. They always want to have disciples. . .disciples. . .disciples. . .whereas, wala naman masama sa discipleship for it is included in the Bible. But the thing is, I wanted to search for something more spiritually beautiful than seeing a lot of crowds gathering in a church or fellowship. Marami ngang members at madaling umunlad, but how about their spiritual aspects of life? Lahat ba un ay talagang saved? Or akala lang nila saved sila just because dumaan sila sa discipleship? Puro experience lang ba? Di tayo mapapatibay ng worldy experience. It saddens me so hard. :( ... Being a g12 members requires discipleship process. But always remember that Salvation is the gatepass to be with God and not discipleship. I'm not saying that G12 is cultic. It is a great way if you want your church to grow. Still, DEEP PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with God together with the members who will help you know more about Him is the true act of simple step towards salvation. God bless!

Discipleship is there to make the church grow. But deep personal relationship with our Lord is the true salvation that will make your "New You" grow as a follower of Jesus. I'm on a G12 church but then I'm not spiritually satisfied. I'm greatly honored everytime I see a lot of crowds on a g12 events or fellowships. But then napansin ko it's all about discipleship and experiences toward the happenings in our surroundings. It saddens me to think that to be a g12 member requires entering the process of discipleship amd many others for years!. Why does man makes it more complicated? :( ... God commissioned us to make disciples of all nations. Jesus' vision is not "world conquest" (1:12), it is "saving the world", in John 3:16 states that "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Oriel wala daw sa Bible ang gift na kunti at gift na marami (3:33), basahin po natin ang Matthew 25:14-15 (The Parable of the Talents) “For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. The bible teaches us that after the initial baptism of the Holy Spirit the early church leaders went everywhere propagating the gospel of salvation. The bible goes into great detail about their methods. There is much history about the early church , especially in the first two hundred years. However there is not one paragraph, one sentence, not even one word that vaguely hints about G12 or it methods. Why is that? Yet the G12 leaders make their boasts that G12 is the most effective means of obeying the great commission of spreading the gospel. Also implied by G12 leaders is that g12 is what god is doing now. They even go beyond and teach that if you are not part of it you are opposing god. None of this can be supported by scripture. Dividing a church into cell groups of 12 has no scripture. Even the other christian historians doesn't mention this. Why? Perhaps it is satanic and you are deceived?

It is what God through Jesus Christ commanded the earliest Christians, to go and make disciples and Jesus demonstrated it when He appointed the 12."Dividing the church into cell groups?" Read Acts. You are deceived by yourself because you have a rebellious spirit. G12 family of churches is a part of the body of Christ, a part that is as significant with other family of churches who have embodied the full of gospel like Victory, CCF, Word of Hope, Pentecostal, etc.

Jomer Tomale G12 is not about what god is doing now.G`12 is not about god in any way fashion or form.Yes Christ appointed 12 but on other ocassions he also sent out seventy. The number 12 has no spiritual significance. as you have been deceived to believe.At no where in the bible is the cell group taught. No i don't have a rebellious spirit. I just questions things that some of these fat pig pastors teach in order to get rich. You can't find no wheres in the bible where the G12 concept is taught.

+Jomer Tomale G12 is not of God, when God is barely even mentioned in the space of a church service which God should absolutely be at the center of. The G12 service I went to was more like a self-help seminar about the power of dreams. The Pastor could not even reference scripture properly, for example he claimed that Abram was just a 'really great guy that stepped up for God'... Then he proceeded to quickly jump back and forth between 4 other scriptures that had no relation to each other except that they mentioned someone dreaming. I could do the same thing with a concordance, which is more than likely how he prepared his sermon, if you could call it that. My issue is that no matter how large you grow, if you don't teach the basics, promote people having personal relationships with God independent of organized religion, you are setting up for disaster in most cases.

The Pastorage at the church I went to could not even quote scripture properly, and even went so far as to refer to Cesar's book as 'scripture'. That was enough for me. Pastor. Jesus clearly stated in Matthew 28:19 that "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit"... not "Therefore go and make 12 DISCIPLES of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit"... God commissioned us to make disciples of all nations. The word disciples is plural so its up to us to how many people we can disciple as long us it is in accordance to his will and purpose. but youre G12 is limiting it to 12.. Hope you can see those things and think again...
