sir the final good ie tea consist of milk sugar , if we take 150 rs of tea power for gdp calculation .the same 150 is used to calculate sugar gdp , milk gdp ?? which is double counting ??

I just used it as an example to illustrate the concept. Dont include milk & sugar and get confused. Consider only tea and understand the concept.

Thank you sir. I do have a doubt on the elimination of double counting during measuring the GDP. Is this practically possible to exactly distinguish between the Intermediate Good and Final Good in an economy.? Lets assume the same TEA example. As the tea packets were sold by a retail vendor , how can we distinguish or how do we know whether the product is further value added or sold to the end consumer during Data collection?

I use simple examples to make concepts clear. Donot take in the literal sense. Like I said in the video, GDP is estimated approximately. We can't measure everything as a whole. NSSO conducts sample survey and takes data, and the sample data is used to estimate GDP. Sample survey means, just taking the sample of industries and firms and calculating. And they use accounting techniques for approximation and extrapolation.
