Fellow Generation X-er here. You did a wonderful job with your daughter. I also applaud the fact that her hair is not pink and that she can think on her own and then complete sentences and likes Guns and Roses. You have done a swell job as a father! I have a 22-year-old daughter that identifies as the person as she was born as well and I am a proud grandfather as well. My two are brought up on Led Zeppelin and Greta Van Fleet as well and I have every confidence in the world that they will do great. Great reporting as always Mike. Plus you’re a great example for all fathers everywhere!

It's good that you judge an entire generation based on limited interactions with some people.

I would blame generation Y. Without gen Y, there couldn't be gen Z. Its a generational thing.

I know "Gen Z" is named bc of the "Gen Y" b4 it (and our own Gen X b4 that, starting to sound like someone's lacking in imagination or creativity!), but I think it is actually a rather perfect name for those guys. I don't know the exact birth year range, but it seems to me that, generally speaking, this is about the last "generation" (i.e., "Z" = last) that will be fully human. I mean, technology is so quickly accelerating that very soon all the neuro-links and biogenetic tweaks and AI implants and VR contacrt lenses and so forth will, truly, make humans who have such augmentation (those who can AFFORD it!) quite a different animal indeed. And humanity 250 years from now? (Assuming we don't do our miraculous, fumbling selves in like we are now by escalating in Ukraine) Fuggedaboudit! The Cave Man will have more in common with you and me than your great x5 grandchildren! Not many people seem to realize this, it seems, partly cos even such dramatic change as Im talking about usually happens fairly gradually, but I'm just saying that it's likely that we are on the verge of some seriously f'd up (and it MAY WELL be supercool, I'm not saying it has to be a dystopian thing here, just very alien) evolutionary leaps here. Thanks for the show, fellow human, lol! And one thing's for sure, one song shall remain the same: Led Zeppelin will ALWAYS RULE!
