Chapter 112 of the Quran, also known as Surah Al-Ikhlas, is a concise and significant chapter that provides a clear definition of God (Allah) according to Islamic belief. The Surah consists of four verses: "Say, 'He is Allah, [who is] One.'" "Allah, the Eternal Refuge." "He neither begets nor is born." "Nor is there to Him any equivalent." The Surah emphasizes the following key attributes of Allah: Oneness (Tawhid): Allah is the one and only God, without any partners or associates. Self-sufficiency (As-Samad): Allah is the eternal refuge, meaning He is independent and self-sufficient, not needing any support or sustenance from His creation. Absence of progeny: Allah does not have any offspring or parents, which highlights His uniqueness and eternal existence. Incomparability: There is no equivalent to Allah, emphasizing His absolute uniqueness and transcendence above all creation. Surah Al-Ikhlas is considered one of the most important chapters in the Quran, and it offers a concise and clear definition of God according to Islamic belief. Reciting and understanding this Surah is essential for Muslims to reinforce their belief in the oneness and uniqueness of Allah.

Simply Amazing... This was an eye opener for me. No one escapes Nature's law. Actually, this video has pushed me to consciously perform good activities and refrain doing bad activities. I will remember the story of Dhritrashtra whenever I will be impelled to do something bad. That's why, many great Indian leaders/ thinkers/ kings/spiritualist tell us to teach Ramayan, Mahabharata in childhood itself. The outcome of that would be a child like Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj: Well competent, Rich in Character and Culturally nourished. Always love to hear Prabhuji. Thanks for this video...

I am not an theist, but just asking, because this guy bullshitted a lot. The monk. He said evil is the absence of God. So, say a little child is abused. Why does God allow that? His explanation is, God was absent there. Is this an answer? We are asking, why didn't God stop it ?

You can Find God in 3 ways.. 1)Bhakti 2) Yoga 3)Gyana (Knowledge). It's upto you which path u are choosing, it's actually ur nature which determines the path. Whatever path you chose it's lead to God. Like your bathing in a ganga whether it in Rishikesh or Haridwar or Kolkata.. "Jata mat tato path"

Once a boy walked to a Saint and asked him, what is the use of Religion and Saints ? can Religious and Saint provide knowledge to make one Doctor, Farmer, Engineer, Actor, Cricketer or develop any other skill sets? The Saint smiled and replied NO SON! The boy stunned and replied then why you have become a Saint and Following Religion? The Saint gave the Boy a small exercise and said to him after he follows this exercise at the end he will get his answer. The boy question seems to be the right for the entire humanity. The Saint asked the boy to list five important people for the society. The boy after giving a lot of thought made a list. Doctor Farmer Solider Engineer Educator And the boy showed the list to the Saint. The Saint again replied with a smile. The boy insisted him to speak further. The Saint replied, what will happen if the doctor doesn't perform his duty honestly? The boy responded. Many people would die. The Saint responded what if Farmer, Solider, Engineer, and Educator don't do their job with morality? Boy surprised, the world will end up in chaos! The Saint Smiled and Said you are right. Morality is not taught in any school, college or materialistic education institutions. It is only taught in religion. Religion is made to make one honest, moral and unbiased so can perform their duty with purity for self and society and this can only bring balance in the world. People take God, Religion and Saints as miracle machine. The real miracle is learning honesty and morality from religion to conduct your character and goals of life. The Boy understood Religion, Saints and Gods are not there for any miracles. But the process, stories and rituals are given to keep one self on the path of honesty, morality and duty!

For people who clicked to know god according to sanatana dharma: God is defined as "Brahman", pronounced "Brahma" with an "n" and not brahmana. He is beyond the gods we worship who have a form (eg: Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma), he is not bound by time as Brahman creates time and space. He is not located in a space as all space resides in him. He is undisturbed, unchanging and cannot be perceived with our sense organs. Now taking the last sentence, he cannot be perceived by the sense organs, the only thing that cannot be perceived by the sense organs, is the perceiver himself. God cannot be known as he is the knower. After Upanishads state such examples in umpteen numbers covering all angles, it tells us "tat tvam asi" meaning, you (we) are Brahman. This is not to be confused with your body, mind or identity. The true nature of you can be somewhat experienced when in deep sleep. You are not aware of your surroundings, your body and even your mind. All you know is you are conscious and that you exist. Which is chith (consciousness) and sath (existence in its purest form). In that state you are happy, which is Ananda. So the definition of God in short is sath chith Ananda swaroopa, which is nothing but the true nature of us when the body, mind is excluded.

1) God Has A Form 2) We are Different From God 3) All Krsna's Hands And Legs (Bhagavad Gita) 1) God Has A Form~ Chaitanya Charitamrita Adi lila, Ch-2 Verse 13: ~ carma-cakṣe dekhe yaiche sūrya nirviśeṣa jñāna-mārge laite nāre kṛṣṇera viśeṣa Translation: As with the naked eye one cannot know the sun except as a glowing substance, merely by philosophical speculation one cannot understand Lord Kṛṣṇa’s transcendental varieties. Brahma Samhita 5.40~ yasya prabhā prabhavato jagad-aṇḍa-koṭi- koṭīṣv aśeṣa-vasudhādi-vibhūti-bhinnam tad brahma niṣkalam anantam aśeṣa-bhūtaṁ govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi Translation: “I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, who is endowed with great power. The glowing effulgence of His transcendental form is the impersonal Brahman, which is absolute, complete and unlimited and which displays the varieties of countless planets, with their different opulences, in millions and millions of universes.” Bhagavad Gita. 14.27 ~ ब्रह्मणो हि प्रतिष्ठाहममृतस्याव्ययस्य च । शाश्वतस्य च धर्मस्य सुखस्यैकान्तिकस्य च ॥ २७ ॥ brahmaṇo hi pratiṣṭhāham amṛtasyāvyayasya ca śāśvatasya ca dharmasya sukhasyaikāntikasya ca Translation: [Lord KRSNA Says:]"And I am the basis of the impersonal Brahman, which is immortal, imperishable and eternal and is the constitutional position of ultimate happiness." Shrimad Bhagavatham (1.3.28)~ ete cāṁśa-kalāḥ puṁsaḥ kṛṣṇas tu bhagavān svayam indrāri-vyākulaṁ lokaṁ mṛḍayanti yuge yuge Translation: “All these incarnations of Godhead are either plenary portions or parts of the plenary portions of the puruṣa-avatāras. But Kṛṣṇa is the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself. In every age He protects the world through His different features when the world is disturbed by the enemies of Indra.” Yāmunācārya, a great devotee of the Lord in the disciplic succession of Rāmānujācārya, has written a very appropriate verse in this connection. He says, tvāṁ śīla-rūpa-caritaiḥ parama-prakṛṣṭaiḥ sattvena sāttvikatayā prabalaiś ca śāstraiḥ prakhyāta-daiva-paramārtha-vidāṁ mataiś ca naivāsura-prakṛtayaḥ prabhavanti boddhum Translation: “My dear Lord, devotees like Vyāsadeva and Nārada know You to be the Personality of Godhead. By understanding different Vedic literatures, one can come to know Your characteristics, Your form and Your activities, and one can thus understand that You are the Supreme Personality of Godhead. But those who are in the modes of passion and ignorance, the demons, the nondevotees, cannot understand You. They are unable to understand You. However expert such nondevotees may be in discussing Vedānta and the Upaniṣads and other Vedic literatures, it is not possible for them to understand the Personality of Godhead.” (Stotra-ratna 12) The Lord cannot be known just by the Study of vedanta. he is KNown Only Through Bhakti, Devotional Service - bhaktya maam api jaanaati (Bhagavad Gita) Bhagavad Gita. 7.24 ~ अव्यक्तं व्यक्तिमापन्नं मन्यन्ते मामबुद्धय: । परं भावमजानन्तो ममाव्ययमनुत्तमम् ॥ २४ ॥ avyaktaṁ vyaktim āpannaṁ manyante mām abuddhayaḥ paraṁ bhāvam ajānanto mamāvyayam anuttamam Translation: Unintelligent men, who do not know Me perfectly, think that I, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa, was impersonal before and have now assumed this personality. Due to their small knowledge, they do not know My higher nature, which is imperishable and supreme. Shri Ishopanishad (mantra 15) ~ hiraṇmayena pātreṇa satyasyāpihitaṁ mukham tat tvaṁ pūṣann apāvṛṇu satya-dharmāya dṛṣṭaye “O my Lord, You are the maintainer of the entire universe, and devotional service to You is the highest religious principle. Therefore, I pray that You will also maintain me. Your transcendental form is covered by the yoga-māyā. The brahma-jyotir is the covering of the internal potency. May You kindly remove this glowing effulgence that impedes my seeing Your sac-cid-ānanda-vigraha, Your eternal form of bliss and knowledge.” The Supreme Personality of Godhead in His transcendental form of bliss and knowledge is covered by the internal potency of the brahma-jyotir, and the less intelligent impersonalists cannot see the Supreme on this account.

2) We Are Different From God~ Bg. 15.7 ममैवांशो जीवलोके जीवभूत: सनातन: । मन:षष्ठानीन्द्रियाणि प्रकृतिस्थानि कर्षति ॥ ७ ॥ mamaivāṁśo jīva-loke jīva-bhūtaḥ sanātanaḥ manaḥ-ṣaṣṭhānīndriyāṇi prakṛti-sthāni karṣati Translation: The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind. God and we (Jivatmas) are QUALITATIVELY the same but NOT In Terms Of Quantity. So we must know this differnce so that we remain Subordinate to The Supreme Lord, so that we reach his Abode and in the process, be freed from the endless cycle of Birth and Death. Bg. 13.22 पुरुष: प्रकृतिस्थो हि भुङ्क्ते प्रकृतिजान्गुणान् । कारणं गुणसङ्गोऽस्य सदसद्योनिजन्मसु ॥ २२ ॥ puruṣaḥ prakṛti-stho hi bhuṅkte prakṛti-jān guṇān kāraṇaṁ guṇa-saṅgo ’sya sad-asad-yoni-janmasu Translation: "The living entity in material nature thus follows the ways of life, enjoying the three modes of nature. This is due to his association with that material nature. Thus he meets with good and evil among various species." Bg. 13.23 उपद्रष्टानुमन्ता च भर्ता भोक्ता महेश्वर: । परमात्मेति चाप्युक्तो देहेऽस्मिन्पुरुष: पर: ॥ २३ ॥ upadraṣṭānumantā ca bhartā bhoktā maheśvaraḥ paramātmeti cāpy ukto dehe ’smin puruṣaḥ paraḥ Translation: "Yet in this body there is another, a transcendental enjoyer, who is the Lord, the supreme proprietor, who exists as the overseer and permitter, and who is known as the Supersoul." Bg. 18.61 ईश्वर: सर्वभूतानां हृद्देशेऽर्जुन तिष्ठति । भ्रामयन्सर्वभूतानि यन्‍त्रारूढानि मायया ॥ ६१ ॥ īśvaraḥ sarva-bhūtānāṁ hṛd-deśe ’rjuna tiṣṭhati bhrāmayan sarva-bhūtāni yantrārūḍhāni māyayā Translation: The Supreme Lord is situated in everyone’s heart, O Arjuna, and is directing the wanderings of all living entities, who are seated as on a machine, made of the material energy. īśvaraḥ sarva-bhūtānāṁ hṛd-deśe ’rjuna tiṣṭhati [Bhagavad-gita 18.61]: The Supreme Personality of Godhead as Paramatma, Antaryami, is situated in everyone's heart. bhrāmayan sarva-bhūtāni yantrārūḍhāni māyayā [Bhagavad-gita 18.61]: He is directing maya, the illusory energy, to give each living entity a particular type of body, and the living entity is moving with that body. For example, according to the price, you can get a car. You can get a Rolls Royce, a Chevrolet, a Cadillac, a Ford, an Ambassador, a Jeep. According to your ability to pay for it, you get a certain type of car, and you can travel. Similarly, according to your karma, good and bad, you get a type of body. There are 8,400,000 species of body. You get one of them and suffer and enjoy. Tatha dehantara-praptih [Bhagavad-gita 2.13]. You have to change your body. Next you can get a cat body or a dog body, a tree body or a demigod body, a Brahma body or a Indra body, an Indian body, an American body, a serpent body, an insect body, a bird body any. There is no guarantee which body you will get. That will be awarded to you according to your karma. Unfortunately, people do not know this. Just like animals, they do not know how to get a better body. asitim caturas caiva laksams tan jiva-jatisu | bhramadbhih purusam prapyam manusyam janma-paryayat || This is a statement from the Padma Purana. Janma-paryayat: by evolution we come to the human form of body, and in the human form of body we have the chance to develop Krsna consciousness. If we do not do that, then we are missing the opportunity. You shall get your next body according to your karma. But if you become Krsna conscious in this body, and if you try to understand Krsna, then tyaktva deham punar janma naiti [Bhagavad-gita 4.9] after giving up this body, you do not accept another material body. That is the purpose of the Krsna consciousness movement. The other Purusha described here is Paramatma. We are atma, soul, and He is Paramatma, Supersoul. We are isvara, controller; He is Paramesvara, supreme controller. We are not Paramesvara. We are Brahman, spirit, and He is Parabrahman, supreme spirit. Bg. 5.29 भोक्तारं यज्ञतपसां सर्वलोकमहेश्वरम् । सुहृदं सर्वभूतानां ज्ञात्वा मां शान्तिमृच्छति ॥ २९ ॥ bhoktāraṁ yajña-tapasāṁ sarva-loka-maheśvaram suhṛdaṁ sarva-bhūtānāṁ jñātvā māṁ śāntim ṛcchati Translation: A person in full consciousness of Me, knowing Me to be the ultimate beneficiary of all sacrifices and austerities, the Supreme Lord of all planets and demigods, and the benefactor and well-wisher of all living entities, attains peace from the pangs of material miseries. We are not bhokta, the enjoyer. We are trying to become bhokta, but we are becoming baffled. It is not possible. We cannot become bhokta. We can be the enjoyed, the predominated, but not the predominator. One thing is enjoyed, and the other the enjoyer. The Supreme Lord is the enjoyer. Mahesvara, or maha isvara. Maha means great. Isvara means controller. We can control a few men, but the name Mahesvara means that God controls all living entities. Nityo nityanam cetanas cetananam[Katha Upanisad 2.2.13]. We may be very proud of controlling a factory, a few thousand workers, but we are not Mahesvara. The Mahesvara is Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who in His Paramatma feature is situated in every body. Paramatmeti capy ukto dehe 'smin. Asmin dehe means "within this body." There are two souls. In this chapter Krsna says, ksetra-jnam capi mam viddhi sarva-ksetresu bharata [Bhagavad-gita 13.3]: "I am also the ksetra-jna." The body is the ksetra, or field, and the soul is ksetra-jna, one who knows about the body. You have your body, and I have my body. I know it is my body, and you know it is your body, just as you know your apartment or your living room. But there is a partner in our body. That is Krsna, Paramatma. I can take care of my body. I am the owner of this body. But Krsna is the owner of all bodies. The tenant is the occupier, and the landlord is the owner. Similarly, I am the occupier of this body, and Krsna, Paramatma, is the owner of this body. To understand that is knowledge. I am not the owner of this body. Therefore Krsna's name is Hrsikesa. Hrsika means the senses, and isa means the controller. We are claiming, "This is my hand," but this is not my hand. This is Krsna's hand. The tenant may occupy the room, but he is not the owner of the room. The owner is a different person. Similarly, we may occupy this body or any body, but we are not the owner of this body. As soon as we know, "I am not the owner of the body; I am the occupier of the body," that is knowledge. We are falsely claiming that we are the owner of the body. But we are not the owner of the body. I cannot therefore repair anything. If any part or limb of my body goes wrong, I do not know how to repair it. But Krsna can do it because He is the owner, Hrsikesa. Hrsikena hrsikesa-sevanam bhaktir ucyate. You have to pay the owner of your apartment. Similarly, we have to serve Krsna for allowing us to occupy this body. That is devotion.

3) All Krsna's Hands And Legs ~ It is also explained: sarvatah pani-padam tat. The Supreme Lord has His hands and legs everywhere. How is that? Because your hands and my hands are Krsna's hands. Therefore they should be used for Krsna. In ordinary understanding, because I think these are my hands I use my hand for my eating, not for others' eating. But actually all hands and legs belong to Krsna and should be used for Krsna. That is called bhakti. If you don't use your hands and legs in that way, that is against the laws of nature. Krsna, the Supersoul, is anumanta: without His permission you cannot do anything. Because everything belongs to Krsna, how can you use something without His permission? Take, for example, a father and a son, a little child. The child wants to do something and wants permission from the father, and the father gives it. In our childhood we remember that even for going to the privy we wanted permission from my mother. "Can I go?" That is nature. Mother is not restricting me; still, we are asking her permission. That is natural. Similarly, we cannot do anything without the permission of the Supersoul within the heart. Therefore He is Anumanta. When we do something wrong, why has Krsna as Antaryami, as Paramatma, given permission? That question may be raised. Because I cannot do anything without His permission, He must give permission for me to do something wrong. That has already been explained. Bg. 13.22 पुरुष: प्रकृतिस्थो हि भुङ्क्ते प्रकृतिजान्गुणान् । कारणं गुणसङ्गोऽस्य सदसद्योनिजन्मसु ॥ २२ ॥ puruṣaḥ prakṛti-stho hi bhuṅkte prakṛti-jān guṇān kāraṇaṁ guṇa-saṅgo ’sya sad-asad-yoni-janmasu Translation: "The living entity in material nature thus follows the ways of life, enjoying the three modes of nature. This is due to his association with that material nature. Thus he meets with good and evil among various species." The living entity in material nature thus follows the ways of life, enjoying the three modes of nature. This is due to his association with that material nature. Thus he meets with good and evil among various species." [Bhagavad-gita 13.22] Krsna can give you permission, but you will have to take the enjoyment and suffering. You insist on getting permission: "I want to do this." And without permission, you cannot do it. Therefore Krsna gives you permission: "All right, do it, but at your risk." Krsna does not want that you should do it, but you want to do it. Therefore He gives permission. Krsna wants us to surrender to Him: sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam [Bhagavad-gita 18.66]. That is His demand. But our demand is different. "I shall not surrender, Sir. I want to do this." "All right, do it at your own risk." But if you follow the instruction of Krsna, then He takes charge of you. Aham tvam sarva-papebhyo moksayisyami. So you do sinful or pious acts and enjoy the effect, but when you follow the instruction of Krsna, there is no such distinction. Your actions are transcendental. That is called Brahman, and it is above the gunas, the three modes of material nature. mam ca yo 'vyabhicarena bhakti-yogena sevate sa gunan samatityaitan brahma-bhuyaya kalpate Krsna says, "Anyone engaged in rendering service unto Me is not affected by the activities. He is immune from the result of all activities." [Bhagavad-gita 14.26] The same point is made in many places. If you want to act for your satisfaction, Krsna will give you permission, but you will have to enjoy or suffer the effects. It is very simple to understand. So therefore Krsna is called anumanta, the one who gives permission: "Yes, you can take. You can do it."

@@jyothimutluru I like your replies to the comment that God has no form, and that we are brahman. I think its limited understanding. If we indeed were the ultimate brahman, then why can't we repair our hands or legs if it goes wrong. You gave a valid argument. Thanks :)

God is Brahman in The Vedas. Bhagwan is a synonym but Brahman is better equivalent. Not to be confused with Brahmana a title confered to those who completed gurukula and in pursuit of Brahman and not to be confused with Brahmand which means Universe. All these terms come from Brahman and are related to the original term in some way. Brahman is the Supreme Creator, the one who created the devi devta to uphold law and order, created the universe, this world and the others, nature, animals and of course us. The Vedas writes that Brahman is like an ocean of which we are droplets that are destined to return to vast expanse of said ocean. Similarly, Brahman is whithin us and we are within Him. Tat Tvam Asi (roughly "I am that") & Aham Brahmasmi (I am Brahman) is popularly passed around but I feel that people don't know the meaning behind it. Tat Tvam Asi means that we are Brahman. Just like Brahman takes avatars, He too has his essence within us and to find Him we only need to look inside. Similarly. Aham Brahmasmi refers to the Supreme Creator (Ie. Brahman) and serves to remind us that while many sects of Hinduism may pray to the devi devta (heavenly beings), may pray to nature, and may pray to their ancestors, in order to reach Brahman, one only needs to look within to find Brahman to cultivate the bond with Him.

This iskconic people is brainwashed and hypocrite... As a hindu we respect Krishna but we have to understand sanatan dharma... Their is only one truth ie Brahma/Atma/ shiv / Purush and remains all are manifestation of it called Prakriti /maya...So in Hinduism We are not worship Ram , Krishna as bodily but we worship their character.

utkrāmantaṁ sthitaṁ vāpi bhuñjānaṁ vā guṇānvitam vimūḍhā nānupaśyanti paśyanti jñāna-cakṣuṣaḥ Synonyms utkrāmantam - quitting the body; sthitam - situated in the body; vā api - either; bhuñjānam - enjoying; vā - or; guṇa-anvitam - under the spell of the modes of material nature; vimūḍhāḥ - foolish persons; na - never; anupaśyanti - can see; paśyanti - can see; jñāna-cakṣuṣaḥ - those who have the eyes of knowledge. Translation The foolish cannot understand how a living entity can quit his body, nor can they understand what sort of body he enjoys under the spell of the modes of nature. But one whose eyes are trained in knowledge can see all this. Purport The word jñāna-cakṣuṣaḥ is very significant. Without knowledge, one cannot understand how a living entity leaves his present body, nor what form of body he is going to take in the next life, nor even why he is living in a particular type of body. This requires a great amount of knowledge understood from Bhagavad-gītā and similar literatures heard from a bona fide spiritual master. One who is trained to perceive all these things is fortunate. Every living entity is quitting his body under certain circumstances, he is living under certain circumstances, and he is enjoying under certain circumstances under the spell of material nature. As a result, he is suffering different kinds of happiness and distress, under the illusion of sense enjoyment. Persons who are everlastingly fooled by lust and desire lose all power to understand their change of body and their stay in a particular body. They cannot comprehend it. Those who have developed spiritual knowledge, however, can see that the spirit is different from the body and is changing its body and enjoying in different ways. A person in such knowledge can understand how the conditioned living entity is suffering in this material existence. Therefore those who are highly developed in Kṛṣṇa consciousness try their best to give this knowledge to the people in general, for their conditional life is very much troublesome. They should come out of it and be Kṛṣṇa conscious and liberate themselves to transfer to the spiritual world. If you want More Information in DETAIL, (regarding what punishments living entities get according to what works they do, and how they bear the consequences of performing ill activities, etc) then read the Garud Puran. You will get the answers to all your questions.

The glowing effulgence of His transcendental form is the impersonal Brahman, which is absolute, complete and unlimited and which displays the varieties of countless planets, with their different opulences, in millions and millions of universes.” Bhagavad Gita. 14.27 ~ ब्रह्मणो हि प्रतिष्ठाहममृतस्याव्ययस्य च । शाश्वतस्य च धर्मस्य सुखस्यैकान्तिकस्य च ॥ २७ ॥ brahmaṇo hi pratiṣṭhāham amṛtasyāvyayasya ca śāśvatasya ca dharmasya sukhasyaikāntikasya ca Translation: [Lord KRSNA Says:]"And I am the basis of the impersonal Brahman, which is immortal, imperishable and eternal and is the constitutional position of ultimate happiness." But Kṛṣṇa is the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself.
