But how do I become a profitable servant? What do I do? This parable has always terrified me, but now it's become a reality and I don't know how to change. I feel like a petrified tree. I don't know what to do.

Asking the question is an excellent place to start! One of the greatest marks of a profitable servant is faithfulness. Just be faithful in the stations that God has you in. Beyond that, a commitment to drawing nearer to the God that made you is a great next step. I really do hope this helps.
