I absolutely adore this jacket, as well as the bag!! It’s my favorite pink color… while I feel that the increases are outrageous, I’m a Chanel lover for life! I’m thrilled that I purchased many of my classic bags about 10 years ago, and my 2 kids will inherit them in my will… Yes, the quality of the bags has suffered, but the jackets are still sublime!!

The jacket is soo beautiful and worth it if it gives you that special feeling. I agree that style wise Chanel is magical because of all the seasonal items and playful style but for me if I start to feel negative about a brand in terms of price, value, quality and service it turns me off and I don’t feel the pull. Recently sold my jumbo as I never wore it and I’m exploring a different style that reflects how I feel. Enjoy ❤️

Thank you Bee! I always appreciate your opinion as a fellow luxe lover! For me RTW keeps the appeal when classic bags are less and less appealing. This jacket made me feel about luxe in way I haven’t felt in years!

Love this jacket, by the way! I remember admiring it from this collection, but decided not to get it since I had already bought the pink peplum tweed jacket from the same collection! Funny, it didn't come in till much later and by that time I was pregnant. So I never really got to wear it or have it altered properly lol. I wore it once to an event during my 2nd trimester and of course, I couldn't close it lol. But, this is what I love about Chanel - they can do so much in the way of alterations. I'm not nervous about my ready to wear because I've been reassured by the alterations team that if I don't lose the baby weight completely, they will alter my garments so that they fit me now. They can order in buttons, lining, fabric, etc. A lot can be done. And yes this is what Chanel stands for - their fashion! I think they became memorable as a handbag brand over the last 10 years and perhaps they want to steer people away from bags by pricing them out. Perhaps they want to redirect their brand image to ready to wear and haute couture again. As you said, that oink tweed bag that matches your jacket was always the 2nd thought to the clothing. I also really loved that tweed mini when it came out - I would have bought but I was trying to be good lol! It's so pretty!
