Marvel legends been falling off big time for me for numerous and obvious reasons.. I went from buying waves of marvel legends a few years ago.. To now being very selective. Just picking up a spiderman here or there and well done figures such as Spiral. Currently the only figure coming out that I care about picking up is Crystar.

Legends has been consistently trending downhill for about 2 years now for me. Ever since they started raising prices and doing the windowless packaging, I keep get less and less excited for what should be my favorite line. This wave is a prime example of everything wrong with Legends. You nailed it perfectly. Taking up slots in the year to release 10 year old figures that aren't expensive or sought after and come with less accessories than they did 10 years ago is tragic, but it's where were at with Legends nowadays. I don't even care any more. I'll just be waiting to get excited for Legends again since about April of 2022

Luckily, all the MCU figures are an automatic pass for me. I am disappointed that they wasted their time and budget with MCU repaints instead of new characters like Cassandra Nova or updates on say, comic book Kate Bishop or Xorn. This was just a big heaping helping of absolutely nothing.

I think it's funny that hasbro is killing it on the g.i. joe and and transformers lines, obviously those are in house lines, but marvel legends and star wars are slowly becoming what seems like a burden on hasbro. They're over pricing both lines and giving us bear minimum accessories. Maybe it time for another company to try and get these licenses.

The wave 2 for infinity saga is definitely underwhelming. For characters like cap and war machine they could’ve given new molds. Would’ve liked that cap to be given the pinless look and even updated articulation. For war machine, really nice if it was infinity war look cuz that armor was dope. I also think rather than spidey, we could’ve gotten an AOU Wanda to go with Pietro who got released in the previous wave, and then Civil War Iron Man swapped out with another Villain or an army builder like the Outriders or Ultron sentries. I do hope, if ever we get another wave for this program, it’ll be as good as the first wave we’ve gotten. Banner is definitely one I’ll be picking up here, maybe Widow and Cap on clearance.

I bought Playmates TMNT movie figures today and the cost of the 4 turtles is slightly more than ONE marvel legend. Surprisingly, I found myself having more fun with these "kids toys" than the supposedly "adult collectible" ML figure. Its becoming harder and harder to allocate collecting budget for ML in the past 2 years. Really sick and tired of the Hasbro / Disney greed.

After being a hardcore O.G. Marvel Legends collector since 09 it sadden me to my core to make the conscious decision to walk away from this entire line. Between the price hike repaints and reissuing the same exact figure over and over and over again just had me board and discussed with Marvel Legends. I been on a absolute High with the G.I. Joe's. They give me so much more for my money. Yes they have reuse but they do it in away that the figure still stand out in its own unique way.

This year I only encountered about 3. My Wonder Man boot snapped off. Egghead had two left forearms and Super Skrull had a glued down hinge on the left powered down arm so it wouldn’t articulate at all. Maybe there’s another one that I can’t remember but 3 for sure.

Hasbro went really cheap with reusing these older body sculpts and giving us repeated characters for this infinity saga line. It’s a hit or miss for me for some of these figures, Bruce banner should’ve been in a 2 pack with Infinity War hulkbuster. Winter soldier cap should’ve been in a newer buck, not a reused buck. The civil war spider-man is probably the weakest figure in this wave because he doesn’t come with wall crawling hands and there’s no painted cob web pattern on the suit. This wave is an EPIC FAIL!!!

At this point, marvel legends is the WORST 6 inch action figure line on the market. It’s depressing. What was once my favorite line has now been driven into the ground by the incompetent marvel legends team. They’ve been exposed. When you have neca, Jada, McFarlane, action force, and GI Joe (another Hasbro line) setting the standard for what a domestic 6 inch line should look like, it’s hard not to see how far legends has fallen. At this point it seems like they’re deliberately trying to screw over their loyal customers.

Hasbro is contractually obligated to do a certain amount of MCU figures a year, this is an inexpensive way to get those numbers up to meet requirements As for why not do new sculpts, well MCU stuff hasn’t sold well for the last couple years It’s the reason we’re getting so much reuse instead of all new specific sculpts from the earlier part of the MCU when they were making money hand over fist Maybe more of the marvel budget will be pushed towards the comics side

Collectors need to recognize that not every sku is for us. Sometimes product is created to bring new fans to the line. Not every MCU fan has been on board since the start and new ones are coming of age every year. As for Nova? Meh, they will probably do a better mass market release at some point but the red look is not really iconic to me.

I feel like a lot of people are missing the Point of this wave. It’s for newer collectors who missed out on these selections. Sure it would’ve been nice for them to have all new sculpt but that just really unrealistic for Hasbro. I’ve seen a bunch of new collectors excited for this wave. We've never gotten a Jack of Hearts figure ever, but we get 50 different versions of other characters. They need to learn how to use Excel and track which figures have been made most often vs new and different marvel characters we have never gotten. Trust me, real collectors and real marvel legends lovers will go after new figures we have never gotten in a heartbeat over the 85th version of Deadpool or Spiderman. That Spiderman figure is HORRIBLE. This wave is pretty much trash. I do like the Black widow even though this is the 5th one they made in the past 2 years already.
