I play this game constantly every day since 2018 and gonna be honest the f2p experience feels extremly unfair you get curbstomped by people that jus said "Heres 500 bucks give my a good dino" meanwhile im out here with dinosaurs that are UNDERLEVELED and dont have like 500 speed boosts on them and when i have something good the meta changes and i go up against dinosaurs that were just released and completly stomp myne to kill it my opponent has to be extremly dumb

Lol even I stopped playing not because it was pay2win or something but the main reason was that the game was more concerned to create broken awful looking horrific creatures and later nerf it when we all tried to grind for it. At this point the game doesn't care about the rare epic creatures,back in the day people used to unlock them for their collection but we now? We need that rare creature dna to create that weird epic hybrid to create the legendary hybrid and again need dna to get the unique creature dna and ONCE AGAIN need unique dna to get the apex hybrids. Couldn't even leave the apex from Hybrids. *Want to say something to All Hybrid lovers* - Congratulations because of all the hybrid love this game got, One day The super apex creature- Locust dino sharkomon Hybrid will be added in the game.This game will never be the same

When everyone heard about the datamine or leak that level caps were going up from Lvl 30 to Lvl 40, more than half the forum threatened to quit the game so it most likely got pushed back. If they increase the level cap without changing everything (How many Coins and how much DNA is needed for for evolving and fusing) than they can say goodbye to me and more than half their playerbase.

i dont think they will do that the amount of grinding and everything else that would be necesary to get a lvl 40 (looking at how much dna you need now and how much it increases per lvl) would not be possible if you say dna requirements double per level you are looking at 750000 dna for the lvl 39 to 40 upgrade with unique creatures

I think it's reasonable to assume they'll increase the level cap, after all, high level cap means people need to spend more money to max a creature. Higher level cap means they can also make hybrids of apexes, which means even more money. In their eyes, all they see is the potential for more money.

The problem I have with the game is how hard it is to get specific creatures. Like if I need a more uncommon rare creature like Weurhosaurus or something I can't really get it. Most of the events just kinda repeat themselves by like featuring velociraptor or stage, which you can already easily get from just looking around the map. It makes it much harder to unlock new creatures. (Also creature tracker kinda useless tbh. It's like: Thanks for telling me there's a creature I can't get! They should just change it so when it comes into your big outer blue circle it appears)

If they increase the dino level, I walk away from the game. The time and money I've spent here to build my team, I enjoy playing it but there are limits to how far I am willing to go/spend. The exception here is if they did something like reset the amount of DNA/Gold needed to level, and it was comparable. So, say the amount to get to 30 now is roughly the same needed to get to 40 under the new system, so more levels but less gold/DNA needed per level, and what we've already spent carries over. Like I log in post update and everything I have at 30 is automatically at 40 already, then I may be willing to stay. If they just tac on an extra 40 levels and guess what now you have to spend millions of gold per dino to level it up then screw that I'm out.

Bro with the android big fix update they literally just deleted all of the visual effects added in the update before it like the armor effects, indolycan's "mist" etc, and the death animations don't show if you do an attack with camera movements. Thanks Ludia and Jamcity.

Adding to the answers to the question you asked,i completely agree with your complaints about the game.I have been playing since day 1 and i just got my team to a point where i can reach lockwood manor, and when i'm doing well and on a win streak the game throws a lvl 30 mortem rex at me. Although i haven't spent a penny on the game outside of the season passes its hard to get a grip on the meta and the constant updates aren't helping,if Ludia/JamCity want to improve the game,add balance patches nerf more powerful creatures and buff weaker ones i think if they do it right the game could be heavily improved Beavers if you read this i just want to say thanks for making really entertaing content for us and spending thousands of £ on a game that frustrates you(idk if that is completely true but you did say that the battles were frustrating at best) I have been a viewer since the channels beginning and the content has just getting better over time. Thank you Beavers (feel free to bring up this comment when ever you want)

I do agree with what you said about the battles though. You'll be against a roughly matched opponent and the next you'll be against a team of high level apexes and almost maxed or actually maxed uniques. Whilst your in an arena where those opponent's shouldn't really be found. I'm in the aviary currently and it happens quite a bit. It's probably not something that's easily solved either but it's just frustrating when you try to progress and get knocked down by them.

I still play, but put no money into it. This keeps me down in the Aviary/Lockwood Library rank (basically near 5000, +/- 200xp). Honestly, I play this game the minimal amount to get the daily rewards and complete the pass. I have been an active Pokemon Go player since launch and really enjoy your community day streams (even though they are super late for me). I always enjoy seeing what life is like in places far from where I live.

man i remember a few weeks ago when there were two uniques that was gonna spawn but they never did and ludia or jamcity hasn't compinsated for it and i was excited for it but of course a bug had to happen making all uniques not spawn that day but the weird part was that the spawn rate of rexy went ballistic and there were rexys everywhere so yeah that happend.

Going back to the skin thing in 16:00 They could honestly add the 10% attack, but add like a debuff like - 10 speed or -15% health something like that. That way it won't be pay to win completely, and it adds more variety into the game.

I've been playing this game since it's inception, never spent a dime on it. And it is extremely hard to progress in the game to where I have been playing it less and less. I do my one battle in the arena after reset, and never touch the arena again after that due to the mass amount of powercreep that goes on. The game is damn near unplayable if you don't want to use the wallet. And going onto the point earlier of Level 40s, that would COMPLETELY destroy this game. The amount of money, dna, coins, resources etc would be far too overwhelming. Ludia is far too gone right now with filling their own wallets, rather than focusing on what we, the players want. Or even attempting to fix / balancing anything to make the game more enjoyable for that matter. This "invisible" dino glitch has been going on for about 2-3 weeks already, and Ludia looks like they have brushed it off. It just seems like they don't even care about fixing ANYTHING in this game and are only doing it for the money. And as more time goes on, we'll be getting more and more creatures that get pushed out of the meta within a month (which has happened) and I guarantee you, every creature you see right now in the meta will be FAR irrelevant in the next 2-5 months. In conclusion, if Ludia / Jamcity keeps up with this whole thing, they'll lose half their playerbase. And that doesn't even matter anyway since 75% of their players are people at the top who are filling their wallets. So Ludia running out of players / money will probably never happen unless EVERYONE quits. Yet again, I'm hoping Ludia sees this video and your rant about how the game is literally just P2W, but even if they did I doubt anything would change.

Beavers I would like to share something that would be cool in a future video. Which is that when the game updates and adds new skins, if it is for an old creature that you already have (eg. Indonemis) you can preview the skin without unlocking it so you can se what the creature with the skin looks like instead of just the wee picture. If you already know this and don't want to do it its' cool but I thought I would tell you anyway just to let you know :)

I used to play this game a lot, as I found it very enjoyable, but it's pay to win side is honestly a lot. I know a lot of games nowadays are, but I've seen games where one or two items can be up to £100 or more. At the end of the day, they are games? At least in my opinion? 1. for anyone who has played mobile games in the last 10 years already knows what is happening: in almost every mobile with some good features that attrackted a lot of players and build a community around the game p2w is going crazy, you can literally spent tens of thousands of dollars and not be anywhere near completing tha game. jwa has a great battle system with a high skill ceiling and just the right amount of rng. ever since the 1.7 update came out p2w has just been going up expnetially 2. for anyone who has been playing this game more than casually the term power creap will ring a bell: it basically means the constant increase of strength of new creatures while old one rarely receive buffs and op creatures are not nerfed the way ludia has implementet this is in the most malicious way possible: they update the game around 1x per month, every update there is a new best creature introduced, completly destroying the previous meta and being the strongest creature ever added to that point. the meta changes completly but the new hybrids are either made from new creatures that you basically have to buy incubators of to get or are like rexy only available through events and incubators or they are raid creatures which in order to get quick you also have to buy incubators so for anyone playing this game a a top level you basically have to spend hundreds of dollars per month in order to not drop in the rank this means that as soon as an update drops old creatures become irrelevantbecause they are never buffed and the op stuff is never nerfed even if they were only a couple updates old and then there are boosts making it even worse

I haven’t paid anything I’m playing for 3-4 years now, I am level 29 and have a total of and are you ready? 7 uniques the best of them being a level 23 Indoraptor. I still enjoy playing the game tho and see it as a challenge to complete the season pass free to play, get high in the ranks( I’m currently in the aviary) and find a good alliance. It’s really fun this way and getting even the worst unique possible still feels amazing every time!

What would be cool, Mr. Beavers Sir, is if you gave us your pick of the best alternatives to JWA, either other geo-location app games, or other dinosaur app( game)s ^^ But yep, can agree with your gripes...They seem to be others too...I really loved it when it was first released because it was the dino fans' answer to Pokemon Go...But now it's just so focused on the battles and everything you do in the game is just set towards your creatures' winning fights...It increasingly feels like there's no love for the creatures, no reason to care about them other than to be gladitorial...IMO there should be incentives to go about this game in several ways and if there was more focus on the exploration side of things, it wouldn't feel like a slog or almost a burden. I still play with it because I like my dinos, but I forget to check in with the sanctuaries, for example, and I don't like that. And yes, the game is just using so much processing power for what it should be...And it's too delicate as well; any small interruption and it's lost connection, alarms are blaring, Gavin screaming...Like, chill the eff out, game XD I know you probably know all this, as well, but just adding my voice to the crowd of disgruntled XD

Honestly Beaver, while it's not a dinosaur game or an AR game like JWA, Dragon Ball Legends is a game that does the app game right. You can buy crystals to do summons but you can also earn them by doing missions and doing story quests and the like. And the fun part of it is: IT'S NOT CATERED TO PVP. There's so much you can do that I haven't even touched PVP at all. It's an example of how you should do app games tbh.

Yeah I agree it’s sadly a slog for free too play, and you get stomped every other game from max level max boosted dinos. Not to mention the issue with droppers still ever prevalent. I’m still playing and I’m enjoying building the dinos I like I’m just trying to avoid the chaos of paying money and the damage that can cause. My gf is also a very new player and isn’t playing as much but is enjoying it to an extent which is good but her dinos and Dino levels are far higher than mine were at her stage so the newer players are having a better time but also facing more broken teams in pvp so it’s very 50/50 to bad/good sadly

I am terrified of them increasing levels to 40, I spend money exclusively on the passes that include boost reshuffle, if they increase the level cap as a player I will be completely outmoded and fall out of pvp entirely, I can't play if levels are over 30, I don't have the money or the desire to spend thousands to have coin, I try to have fun, I use off meta creatures, I can't handle fighting people with Apexes at lvl 30, I've played since release, I can barely handle new creatures, fighting them at lvl 40 makes it impossible

It would be cool if they could release an insane amount of skins. Like atleast 1 or 2 for most creatures (maybe not uncommons because they aren't used after like the first week or two of the game) and have it so you could earn these skins by completing challenges. Like, accepting skins submissions from talented fans etc. Obviously that would be no easy task at all. But in general, it would be cool if you could earn more stuff like that from challenges.

There's always someone out there willing to pay silly prices. Unfortunately, it shows the company that there are people willing to pay. Big numbers seem to look better to the company as the 'selling many at a lower price' never seems to get implemented. There's a few cases where the customers warned of prices and it fell on deaf ears. Sometimes, it led to the game dying. Which is the other thing. How can people justify buying a bunch of pixels for the same cost (or more) as a triple a title? Remember, these games can close tomorrow with no warning. It's happened before and will happen again.

the game has overloaded with so many dinosaurs and their previews that the game starts to crash spontaneously or struggle to open or even reopening the app after you click out of it makes your phone start to overheat. The games needs to either remove dinosaurs or do something about whatever is causing the game to be so slow

You are completely justified with your grievances against this game. I've been playing basically constantly since the game came out and have been following you play it the whole time. It's become something that I just can't support anymore. I had the premium sub thing that gave you extra drone range, I've canceled that, I bought this last pass but moving forward if I play I won't be spending any money. I wish pvp wasn't the focus of the game, but it clearly is and that's frustrating because if you don't throw money at the game you just get annihilated. They own the creatures you have. It's in the ToS so they can do what they want. It's the same conundrum as online card games.

Well I played since start and still don't have all dinosaurs. I have some hybrids. So I think they shouldn't focus on level increase they need play ability increase
