Want to mess with your moon stereotypes even further? The moon is up during the day just as often as it is during the night. It’s just not as noticeable, both because it stands out better against the night sky as well as that when it’s out during the middle of the day it’s a crescent moon, while when it’s up during the middle of the night it’s closer to a full moon.

We sometimes see the moon during the day for the same reason we see it at night - it is reflecting light from the sun - and its closeness to Earth makes it brighter than the daytime or nighttime sky. After the sun, the moon is by far the brightest celestial object we can see

I really dont think that was their last kiss because of the episode "the husbands of river song" they dont kiss in the episode but its heavily implied and that episode is canonically the second to last time she sees him before dying

I think it is a fantastic opening 2-parter! I agree the "fell out of the sky" is a bit forced and Moffat was dragging out the whole issue of whether Amy loves the Doctor a bit too long. However, it is still great on the whole. That said, your reactions are possibly even better! The most entertaining ones I have ever seen!. Please keep arguing. LOL

After I regenerated from dying laughing with the argument, it's time to type - imho - who won: Sorry Noah, but Garrett isn't clearly spoon fed raised and that's what you need when watching this show. But, as always, you'll get there. You know stuff too, I've seen it, but Garrett.... yeah ..., he can even go beyond the universe of Doctor Who in his mindset and that is not a given thing. I just hope 'AI Josh' ( Awesome Indicator Josh) hasn't regret his decision into letting you both watch Doctor Who after this reaction but then again, it really was a very wild ride .... and the season has only just started.

I agree with the guy who thinks amy is a bit of a dick. Yet for some reason people back in the day loved her so much yet hated Martha for having a crush on the doctor 🤷🏿‍♂️. Its only since KZbin reactions ive seen more love for Martha. Amy does get better though and i understood maybe what they were trying to imply by her obsession of Doctor, but the whole cheating inconsiderate way she treated rory was bad😂, yet everyone applauded it yet still hated martha for having a crush🤪. In the end i think they're showing the unhealthy obsession she had with the doctor for years, she isn't thinking clearly due to mental issues with it(hence she had psychiatrists over it etc).

I think it’s maybe a misstep by Moffat, here. I get what he’s doing and never personally felt he went too far for my taste with the phony love triangle (well, apart from the S7 opener). I think Moffat is not a jealous guy by nature and doesn’t think Amy’s continued attraction and flirting with the Doctor is a big deal so long as it isn’t acted on. And he is careful to explain any time it gets close to being acted on as more a consequence of the weird way she met and imprinted on the Doctor. It works for me, but even at the time it went out there was a huge contingent of folks who couldn’t get over this point. They didn’t just feel bad for Rory, but they hated Amy for it. Moffat kinda has to wear that.

it's not a love triangle (never was actually because 11 has no interest in amy or rory) and this isn't love triangle either it's just rory still being a bit insecure (reasonably she did leave the night before the wedding lol)

​@dutchman8887 Yeah, I think maybe that line was a bit heavy-handed, but I've considered the whole Rory v The Doctor thing pretty much sorted ever since 'Amy's Choice' in S5. Amy made her choice. As you say, I think it was just there to show Rory's insecurities.

​@@arch1017I agree that Amy chose Rory last season, she certainly loves him exclusively by this point and I adore her as a companion. I'm criticising the writing here, she says that line with the purpose of making the audience unsure of her loyalties to Rory (as shown in this reaction). My point is that whole uncertainty should have stayed in last season. I don't actually believe she was canonically trying to make him jealous as I said, but the phrase specifically made me and others have those doubts about her character at this point in time. And yeah, technically not a love triangle but it's pretty clear what I'm talking about.

@Isaac_99 Yeah, I agree with you, I'd have preferred that it be left out, but it doesn't bother me massively. I do kind of wonder if it was added so that it could be called back to just before a very badass Rory moment (one of many this season) later on in S6.
