"What is happening in Jedi Survivor?" Nothing. Nothing is happening until later. What you said in the middle gets into my head. The first game had the inquisitors hunting you. There were only two, but they were more than enough. This game...didn't have any enemies. One of the inquisitors had to come back as a first boss to clearly show Cal's growth. The issue is that he has no main antagonist anymore(on the surface). He literally had to dig up a guy from 200 years ago to be a main antagonist. And he found him by complete coincidence. If there's a third game, my advice would be to either use evil StarKiller as a new "rival"(he's way too strong to be honest) or they'll have to pull a real new villain. Or they would have to set it after the OG trilogy instead of after the prequels. Which would make Cal around 50.

This is true and it’s my main gripe with the story. It’s uninteresting after corascaunt and only mildly gets somewhat interesting towards the end of the game. There needed to be more conflict of some kind aside from cal wants to fight and some high republic guy sometimes. So far the story has been weaker than the first game but I still have to complete so maybe it will pick up at the end.
