Practical & honest view. I do agree with you. In SINP 'students' stream applicant need to get a job in the field same of his/her study, if I amn't wrong. Despite of living in stress immigrants should also be grateful towards the provincial govt & the employers.

The provincial gvmt makes everything harder. Manitoba is easier. Most employers in Saskatchewan don't want to help employees to do the PR process. There is too much corruption, most employers want people to pay to give the documents for the PR. The provincial government knows this but they don't care. Soo disappointing!

I know for a fact that they are stringent in issuing the SINP nominations, but corruption among the employees are over the rood.. the hard reality of Sask!

And one more thing when Desi people come here they think once they get education then the companies will make them manager or boss straight away. In Canada it doesn't work like back home countries. Here the promotion is seniority basis. The longer you work for the company the more respect and promotion you will get. Here when you go for vacation or anything first they will give to their senior employees then it will come to new employees. Here it says climb the ladder means start from zero no short cut.

I applied after 3-4 months. It wouldn't create any problems in applying, but it depends on your case.

Just for information,, If you are working at crown corporation, they are really helpful in providing job approval letter and it was so much quicker.

I am 47 and planning to do diploma in accounting, jan 2024 intake from SP moose jaw which I expect to finish by may 2026. By that time I will be 49 yrs 6 months. To have 8 points for age in crs, I need to apply immediately after graduation. Do you think Saskatchewan experience stream will do the job if I apply after crossing 50? Or you think coming to Canada in this age and compete with all these young people is a good idea? Brb, I calculated crs with my planning and it was 80 with a job offer

There is nothing to be too worried about. Just that make sure you plan things ahead like accomodation, job search etc. There are lot of students getting here and all of them manage to find accommodation and jobs

I work in Supply Chain field. I used to work in marketing for almost 13yrs, however, when I did my research I realized it is not a high demand job to get PR and hence changed the field. I also made the decision because I personally wanted to change and also liked the supply Chain industry. Marketing has scope but I guess more of digital marketing, analytics etc.
