Like Canna said it really is easier with cleave because you can cheese through most defenses.Just have a super fast luna (or at least with immunity coz of ml poli and zio who can outspeed) and frida to push the cleavers.For me those cleavers are ml kise and ml pavel combo,they are killing everything even if they have the unbuffable or fighting belian.For example my offense would eat Canna's defense alive even though his units are mega bulky because he has barely any eff res and kise attacks twice with immediate pavel, which is 2 hits under the def break and the possibility of skill turn increase.

I'm fine with staying in Champ 5, but sucks being locked out of the first time rewards from the higher ranks. It used to be possible to reach Legend and get all of the first time rank rewards at the start of the week with a comparatively low skystone/time investment. We'd be able climb to Legend 1 at the start of any week we'd feel like, peace out, retire in Champ and let the podium chasers battle it out. New players don't even have that option after the arena revamp. It's a huge waste of time and skystones now.

I made it all the way to Legend 6 before they implemented the Arena changes and added Emperor. Currently I’m sitting at Champion 5 with 250 more points than the requirement for rank up but because of the changes I haven’t promoted yet. As a slow player this feels like such a slog. I have a 60-70% win rate on offense and it feels like I’m making zero progress.

I wonder if it's worth it to keep struggling to push into the end game with bad gear. It looks like you need to balance speed with damage or effectiveness. That's a narrow window of gear requirement that. I don't have the units built to even attempt the harder parts of the game. Not to mention the lack of patience to restart after dying due to lack of speed. And leveling the gear to see what you'll get is just too hellish of an endeavor.

As a new player/ causal player, even with epic7 doing auto 24/7, its impossible to out of champ V and staying in champ V is also impossible. Because everyone has bettee gear by miles, everyone uses the same comp that destroys 99% of comps and can only be beaten if you also have more than 3 speed sets at 295+ and specific limited units that you can no longer get. Arena is scuffed and no idea how to fix. The current event, would've been nice if the speed set they gave was leveled with at least 290 speed, but nope you gotta level it

i stopped playing for several years, and came back and grinded arena (for fun and for the rewards only after seeing all these new characters) and i somehow ended champion v from bronze v in about 20 days lmfao. the epic dash event is perfect as it helps me get free equipments, summons and characters. i dont even have the best gears or units and all that, as a casual player im still pretty impressed at myself.

Yeah honestly, arena is such a joke and is super frustrating. You ABSOLUTELY can beat almost every team in the game with a speed team, and i hate that because it's literally all RNG. Im barely breaking 250 while keeping to good sets, and going pure speed with no other stat being considered, i get like 280. Ive got some good units over the course of playing and all the QoL updates and giveaways, but not really neing able to beat others that outspeed me while ALSO having my team not having their effects proc is so annoying.

i haven't been playing for too long. reached champion V super fast and then i just stopped trying. fights started taking ages to complete without quick battles and also there is no point if ratings don't have a % degradation. getting the points for the rank isn't the issue. issue is getting in top whatever. at champion V i am rank 53 629 and i need to be in top 3000 for champion IV, that's like what, 1-2 years of grinding? there's just no way.

Didn’t they fix the point camping after reset? Honestly, there’s no saving this arena season because of the camping in the beginning until a few weeks ago. We’ll just have to see how it fares next season. Still a hassle to climb though. I think what they need to do is maybe increase the number of players in the upper rank. And maybe limit the number of arena flag purchases each day or even week.

Maybe get rid of the name censor and if you win against opponents with higher points than you for example Top 1 with 27k points with you being at 12K. They could lose 500-1K points and you gain 500-1K. If they attack you, with that much difference, they'll just earn 10-30 points. Let SG cook how much points difference gain and loss dependent on the amount difference each player has. With this new arena implementation, everything needs to change in terms of point gain and loss and also seeing the standing of players too

I'm thinking of adding brackets per server.. I mean we're all kind of placed downstairs, given single ladder and was told to compete to climb the top... why don't they divide the players into groups and each group will compete with each other to the top.. The downside tho would be that each server will have a multiple Top 1 players... My suggestion is not perfect but we all know that the current arena situation is much worse. Initially I'm thinking of removing the Top xxxx requirement for the 1st time rewards but it would be a disaster since Legend will become too easy to achieve...

I missed out the first week and a half because I was busy, Though I still used about 7 flags a day. But ever since that second week, I average around 150 battles a week at a 90% win rate and 30-40% def rate (not attacked often), and I can't get higher than Champ II. This new arena is TRASH, it's 1000% worse than it was. I quit trying last week. I was around 11k points last week if anyone is wondering. It's such a waste of time.

Also ... another way to fix it could be adding a reward to climb the ranks, like when you get consecutive victories, or if you get a +500 points until the next coming week... Something like that.

Tbh champ V is the worst because of introduction of emperor rank because everybody dropped from champ to challenger. My guildie recently climbed to champ and he starts at rank 23.5k and to get to champ IV you need to be 1.9k rank, but to be champ III you need to be arond 1.5K, wth?!

What sucks, about about reaching rank ChampionV is that you also have to increase your player overall rank aka im in the top 5 players of global or im rank 20k in global, and by the time you reach Champion V youll be in the 20 to 15k position AND if you want to go climb to champion IV GUESS WHAT you have to reach top 3k players in that server which if you dont play all day everyday, its a very low chance to even get out of Champion V.

Realistically the best defense team was that 290 Helena but the amout of gear it takes for that is insane. Also, if you're only using Frida as a follow up to your opener you can drop her to 240, 250 if you're still skeptical.

Well, arena matches does take you like 5 minutes + tô finish, also, I've been using Elvira and Roana, and basically free win with 5 minutes + matches! LOL I got to champion 1 before arena changes, but still, 20+ win streak, spending SS... When you reach champion 5, you notice after a while the same comps, boring fights, decent ammount of rewards but not worth the effort, tbh, arena is just... Boring as fuck, I rather run labyrinth than climbing on arena lol

now that ive watched the video id like to note that the defense/offense stuff is a little irrelevent, every season is basically the same boiling down to countering the most meta opener (in this case zio/achates for luna) and then a bunch of tank down defenses, same thing every season Its essentially just picking your poison, die to cleave or die to choux ddr.

I respect your opinion canna I’ve been watching play E7 for a while. You are right about the speed but that harsh reality is that most of our accounts have very little speed to compete. I love the game it’s really nice but the RNG for the gear is getting to me. I’ve seen ppl come and go in this game because I’ve been around this game for a while even tho I haven’t played consistently. This is the longest I’ve played and today the gear rolled all HP I was pissed. In other server they are getting penta speed and great rewards. It’s frustrating and exhausting 😮‍💨

Isn't this similar to RTA though ? The rank 1 arena player is being rewarded for spamming arena. Now players who play RTA will fall behind those who grind mostly arena. ''adjustments will no longer occur during the weekly calculation and will only take place at the beginning of a new regular season'' I don't understand the problem. If the rank 1 player wants to spend all their time and resource to be rank 1 arena then unless someone else is doing that work then they deserve to be up there. Seems to me like that rank 1 player really loves Epic Seven arena an is willing to work for their spot.

It's nothing like Rta, Rta doesn't have weekly rewards. And if they love arena they should have no problem climbing back every week The problem is that there's going to be a huge disparity created as a result of no reset. Newer players have literally zero chance of ever getting first time rewards for any of the higher ranks because unless they're using every single skystone to buy flags and winning every game, the gap is gonna be too large

i have the best fix. 1. give us 5 or 10 premium banners per day that you can't buy with skystone or anything else. only these banners increase rank points. every other battles with red banners that you can buy, will be purely for improving skill and get conquest points for shop. this way everyone will be limited to 10 ranking matches a day and only those will prove the skill and money won't influence this OR 2. arena rank shouldn't last forever, take league for example, every few months people get dropped to 0 and start ranking again OR 3. have the arena defense include weekly / monthly gimmick where certain class / element is forbidden so you would have to constantly build heroes or take the hit
