What is HAPPENING to GO Battle League!?

YarizardX here, thanks for the shoutcast! This team got me 800+ elo during Go Battle Day. All sets were 4-1 and 5-0. Anyone still wanting to run this team a few pointers: - Arctibax needs to shield Charjabugs first Xscissor, as 2 of them (and only 1 debuffed) is enough to take out Arctibax. - if there is a golbat in the lead, you try to leave the Vig-Dusclops matchup with 1-2 ice punches to treaten shields. Chansey against 2 shields can be tough. - If there is a golbat in the back you keep your Dusclops alive, even if it is with only a bit HP so you can clear the debuf. - If you see a Dragonair lead, throw 4 fastmoves with Dusclops before swapping, so you can always win switch with Arctibax in case they don't swap out. - as for the shield in the last matchup against Zweilous. This was in case I couldn't get to a Ice Punch against the zweilous. Having chansey taking the Poison Fang there would probably mean that I couldn't take down the Zweilous as it resists Chansey pretty well up hp. Again thanks for the Shoutcast. If niantic is reading this, take out Vig and Chansey next time, what were y'all thinking.

@@azizben6457 i faced multiple Double Fighters, and it is doable depending on the moveset. Nightslash/Ice punch isn't that bad for Chansey, and Ice punch/ Fighting move isn't to bad for Dusclops. The key to winning is energy management and quickly adjusting your playpattern according to their decisions, shield usages and energy buildup.

I hate this season of GBL. It is so allignment dependant, and every 50% of battles is that bastiodon team. The cups this season is so bad, like we have 3 weekend without great league, and in 2 data there is fricking CATCH CUP

My problem w gbl is the lag. It seems to not to be ordinary lag. It likes to lag at super important times. When u have a charge move loaded to win a game. Super ahead on energy to win a game. Ive lost quite a bit due to it.

Been a while since I watched your content. Glad to see you are still doing well 😁 For context, I hopped onto the Pokémon Unite train following you, and have been there ever since. The meta can be terrible at times, even tho it is currently quite balanced. Matchmaking still needs work. Talking abt GBL, I am amazed to see the day finally arrive where Chansey has a fast move viable enough to be a meta threat it could've always been 🤭. Was Zen Headbutt buffed? I stay up every morning for hours when I get off third shift. I love battling for some reason I can’t get past 2300 which was my last season high. I am so freaking sick to death pissed off, my neighbors, probably hear me, about this, ridiculous dumbass evolution cup. It’s been going on especially over a battle weekend or a Saturday as it was. Use up resources Stardust gone multiple times I got super good tip top IV Pokémon it doesn’t freaking matter. Sometimes I swear my opponents can see what I have the way they only shield, certain ones, and always seem to have the best counters for what I have! I’ve been wanting to use Chancey and then when I seen your video here it really made me decide to go all in and do it. I literally have lost 12 out of 15 matches. And do you know where vigor is now every freaking time since I put together the chancy team. It’s last.before I made this team, I was running into vigor off three out of every five battles over the last couple days in the lead or at least always second. What the hell!!

If you’re in the 2300s, I get your frustration. The difficult thing about that elo range is the unpredictable lineups. Where as the higher you go, the more predictable the back lines are to predict but the decision making of opponents are a lot better. Play to the Pokémon you see, keep track of the fast moves and energy of the opponent’s and your own Pokémon. And know your matchups. You have to be 100% focused on battling if you want to climb higher.

The whole team is built to draw out Vigo with arcti, debuff and farm down with clops… to have energy to threaten shields (cause chansey only works well if minimum 1 shield is gone(better 2). So that you face Vigo in the Vigo cup is nothing special. If you face it in the lead, perfect. If Vigo is in the lead you go return(like he does) the reason is, all you want is shieldadvantage, and if you don’t get it it should hurt. What you try to avoid is a 2 shield s. dragonair vs chansey or a counter user. I

His rank is low likely because once you get to legend you can start messing around and not try-harding. Attempt some spice, use your favorite mons, etc. Not like he's below 2000 or something. Feint attack is 3.0 EPT vs. Hex's 3.67 EPT. So not the biggest drop off. But you're using Feint attack here for Vigoroth and would usually use Hex otherwise.

If you hit legend and not interested for leaderboard you ll always tank down(reason is the waiting queue, it take ages to find 25 fights if you on Leaderboard)

He wrote, that he climbed 800+ ELO…and I believe him. 95% of teams are Vigo+Golbat or Golbat+Vigo 3rd is irrelevant. He has a perfect a b b Line for that meta. Draw out Vigo, farm down with clops, threaten shields against Golbat , sweep with shield advantage chansey. Or play out Vigo lead get shieldadvantage and soft loose or get allignement. For me it cost to much time, but honestly a good team for that meta and braindead easy.

Well, I’m freaking done for today. Just went 0 for five again … I dropped over 200 ELO ! I have never had this bad of a day. Apparently this team wasn’t a good match for my ELO range today. I only seen a fighter in the last position every freaking match that I played, I don’t even know what else to say. I’m so irked I don’t even care if I ever do it anymore.

Your problem is, you play a team which was anti meta 3 days before… if the meta shifts to 2x counter you have to change your team…. Or in other words, you re 3 days to late… if you wanna climb you have 2 real choices 1st play a total neutral Team where you mostly play 3:2 2nd play a anti meta team, but you can’t copy yt teams, it’s to late if they are in a yt showcase. You have to built it by your own (or be in a PvP com where you get Teams earlier)
