What is Happening to the Price of Runescape's Newest Items? [OSRS]

Varlamore has been out for nearly a month and its finally time to look at the economic effect of this update! From end game PvM updates like the colosseum to mid game content like the perilous moons, there is a lot of price changes to take a look at.
The meta for varlamore content has settled a bit, but these items are getting changed today. So there is a lot of volatility in the oldschool runescape market this week. Were going to look at all the new items, as well as all the other items that the varlamore update has effected.

I think the sunfire set is such a niche item set. If you are excluding the helm (for slayer) proselyte is 4 prayer bonus weaker and you save 44m gp, thats alot of prayer potions...

i know you mentioned that the tassets aren't traded so different from the others, but i did think it's worth mentioning that tassets from the sets were the *final* pieces to come onto the markets since the sets drop in predictable orders (tassets last) as far as it seems, so in the esrly stages they aren't more "rare" by rate per say, but they didnt enter the loot pool till a little later? not sure if that makes sense and after you make one complete set you can start getting dupes of those, which means that tassets might not drop as fast

The weight of the blue Moon tassets is lower than ahrim and the top is alot heavier than ahrims it's a cursed look but it's alot lighter going tassets+ahrims too

Blue moon tassets are good for raids and other content where you wouldn't bother taking bandos tassets due to inventory space or whatever. They are ahrims bottoms with bandos tasset strength bonus

​@malibuhiegts generally you try to complete all game mechanics/pray flick so defensive stats for people like me are not needed for most content. I'd recommend bandos for less experienced players as its more forgiving, especially in raids 1 etc. I have max gear so it doesn't effect me too much anyways.

Funny part was I got my first blueprints to upgrade basic next one up for 500k to 650k I think and rebuy the blueprints back for 50k and other for 75k so even at low end I pay 125k for both blueprints and made 375k to 525k. items for skilling isn't really great unless if you can cooperate skilling weapons with its own futures, once you reach 99 skilling items aren't really good unless it can make you bank or creates dopamine continually. if there was minigames like stealing creations that involves skilling and utilized after games that doesn't lose value over time would be a legendary value in game. kind of like prestige to require an unlock to your skilling item and increase its value of minigames or value of some sort without ruining skilling grind.

They could sink items by making them more afk. Example a butler to bank or a mechanic like death to charge/enhance gathering consumables for none consumables. The perk is you can create a gold/item sink in exchange for items that do have a consumption rate. It would also help jagx by having more active players as afk would be more viable. Xp rates wouldn’t mater if you keep it at endgame.
