I love how u bring up the group of friends in pile one. That’s what blocking the connection. You are right everybody knows each other business and he is worried about the relationship being on display. I dated him first when I was younger. Later I moved and end up dating his neighbor, which I didn’t know he was associated with the other guy. So that ended and me & him reconnected. It’s a big deal. Everybody look at its wrong and my ex was mad that he and I reconnected. So we wear masks and just act like we don’t know each other.
