The Mimic is often associated with a white tiger in the Tales novels. In the game, its wearing a lion costume, granted with some pieces from other costumes, but mainly a lion. The leading theory is that it's meant to be analogue to the mimic in the book. Probably not the same, but adjacent to one another, being that lions & tigers are pretty similar. Also, the Freddy body missing a head, the 3rd princess quest mini game with a sword through it, Gregory saying to follow his friends instructions (likely saying "follow her instructions" before being cutoff by walkie talkie feedback), plus the fake ending with Gregory, helpy (likely Freddy analogue), & Vanessa (basically the mimic likely lying to Cassie that everything is fine & she's safe with Gregory, Vanessa & helpy), it all suggests the princess quest ending is in fact canon. So Burntrap is either the mimic mimicking William, or Burntrap never existed in the first place. Since Gregory's comic drawings in the game are the endings, it can be inferred these comic endings were ones conjured by Greggy boy while coping with the situation in the Pizzaplex.

I believe that William was possessing the Mimic before the PQ ending.

@@Vigriff I can see where people fall into that camp. I personally don't particularly agree that it's William possessing the mimic pre-PQ (lets face it, most fans [myself included] just want him dead at this point & a new villain take the ranks), but the way I see it (or have seen rather) with the mimic is that, it existed at some point undetermined, then, through FNaF VR, as circuit boards were scanned in, one of the mimics was also. Conversely, with the game devs needing to recreate Springtrap/William for the game, plus referencing the decades of murder under Freddy's belt, the mimic program decided to mimic Afton & thus created Glitchtrap. Its body still exists, but the AI went on to create a virus that copied or learned to be Afton. So while technically not Afton, the mimic carries on his legacy, possessing Vanessa. But, through princess quest, we killed the virus form of the mimic, leaving only the body trapped beneath the Pizzaplex. I suggest you watch Dawko's most recent video to get a better idea of this theory.

I feel like retconing Burntrap completely out of existence would be pretty dumb, the Vanny ending might be the correct one however completely making up Burntrap but also drawing the Blob who is real feels like a half measure. It's likely they still encountered Burntrap and did something to him as I don't believe the thing we find in this DLC is Burntrap. Gregory says "he doesn't know what the thing is" if it was the same thing mind controlling Vanessa I feel like she would be quite aware of it, maybe not 100% but knowing nothing feels like a stretch.

The good ending is the mask/Helpi calming down Cassie before she dies, because at the end you can see she is breathing with panic so she is still in the real world. The “good ending” is the ending where Cassidy accepts her faith and dies but before she dies she spends it on a good memory

The Elevator/Betrayal ending definitley feels like it's the actual ending. Being the only ending with a post-credit scene also makes me think that way,like it will lead to another game where at the begining we wake up and see Roxy worried in front of us ans like asks us who did this to us and we metion Gregory and then troughout the game we try to find a way to escape and Seek revenge for Gregory (or at least Roxy seeks it) Like Imagine how much hatered towards Gregory will Roxy have when she finds out that Gregory did what he did to Cassie,looking at the fact she already hates him since he took her eyes

I think the ending where Cassie puts the mask on and sees Gregory, Helpi and Vanessa is like she's retreating into her own mind/into the V.A.N.N.I. network as a safe place. Who knows what that means for her physical body once the Mimic catches up to her?

the costume at the end is something you’ll really only understand if you’ve read the books. i’m gonna try to explain it for anyone who hasn’t read the books and wants to know what it means, but if you don’t want spoilers, don’t read the rest of this. (also, just a warning, i’m not the best at explaining things, so i apologize if this is messy.) in The Mimic (the story that the mimic first appears in) a man named Edwin who sold his company to fazbear entertainment makes an animatronic called Mimic to entertain his son, David, while he works. mimic is using a program called Mimic1 which, obviously, is just supposed to mimic David’s movements. one day David was playing with a ball, but he dropped it and it went through the open door. since they live in a factory, is right next to a road. Edwin wasn’t watching and David ran out to get the ball but got hit by a semi. David was the only thing Edwin had in his life he was (obviously and reasonably) devastated. when he saw mimic, it reminded Edwin of David, and in a fit of rage, he destroyed mimic. this, however, implanted violent behavior into mimics system. obviously because this is fnaf this doesn’t go well at all and obviously mimic goes and kills the first people it sees. this ends up being two random employees from fazbear entertainment, who were sent to Edwin’s factory/home to go and take stuff out since he disappeared suddenly (which does raise another question - what happened to Edwin?? clearly he’s alive since in The Storyteller he’s once again the main character, but where did he go when he disappeared?) but these two employees died (one was shoved into the fridge, the other got a coat hanger stabbed through him and got hung up in a closet.) after this happens fazbear entertainment does the “smart” thing and sends three more employees to go and get stuff out of the building. they get locked in and also die from the mimic, but this time, the mimic dresses up in different costumes that w had built. the one that he dresses up in to kill Dominic (the main character) happens to be a lion costume that’s described to look almost exactly like the one we see the mimic wearing in ruin. (for anyone who wants the exact quote - “ Before Dominic could take even one step toward the machinery that he’d hoped to transform into what he needed, the top costume in the pile of costumes near one of the wooden crates and sat up. The costume, it’s faux fur matted and rotting, was a grayish-purple lion with a bedraggled mane and broken whiskers. The costume’s decrepit appearance, however, did nothing to diminish the horror as it rose up from the pile and took a step towards Dominic.”

3 Things: That description of the costume isn't exactly what we see in Ruin but it is still similar. Also the Mimic first appears in the Epilogues (granted he isn't named there for awhile). last thing that I probably don't need to say but will, is that the reason the Mimic is at the Pizzaplex at all is because he ended up getting shipped along with some other endo's and animatronics when the Pizzaplex was trying to turn the sinkhole fnaf 6 pizzeria into a museum, he ended up being reprogrammed by an employee to do work for him and other employees, which was to tear apart multiple endo's and store them or something, and the Mimic ended up tearing apart the employees and only one escaped which got the delivery people to shut the Mimic inside. At least that's the story in the book.

Theory: Helpy is actually the last of The Mimic that stills having control over the Pizza Plex, first: That helpy is A LOT more purply than the other helpy designs, it helps you on the things that the fake Gregory makes you do, and it is literally telling you that the security nodes are bad, AND IT LITERALLY TRIES TO STOP THE MXES SECURITY SYSTEM THAT STOPS THE MIMIC FROM COME OUT ON ALMOST *ALL THE GAME*

It's important to also note Gregory is depicted as "unsually good at computing and hacking" so it would explain how something like the M.X.E.S program could have been developed, as far fetched as it definitely seems for someone of his age and this again does tie in with the books of which he demonstrates abilities that could enforce this idea. Perhaps Vanessa had a say in the design of the program as something based on the Glitchtrap entity from Princess Quest. And we DEFINITELY know the two have been down there since Security Breach as Gregory has left a bag behind and he knows about the Mimic existing down there and how potenially dangerous it is.

You don't need them all to be deactivated for it to spawn. There's a video showing all the secrets and stuff in the game and didn't have the final PAT PAT that appears near the room only when you have the mask on, like he didn't get the required amount, and used hacks and stuff, got into the room, deactivated the 4 PAT PAT's in there, and left. Also, Nightcove missed one on her last episode, yet still saw Bonnie.

Since I googled it, and I think its from "Tales of the pizza plex: Nexie" and it says this "Mimic, now in a rotting grayish-purple lion costume stands up and slams Dominic to the floor. My theory about the out of place mascot costumes is this, remember back in Fnaf 3 the phone call that talks about "temporary suits" as the Springlock suits were being retired due to there failures, and they were waiting for proper Fazbear suit replacements to be delivered. What if these costumes are those "temporary suits" phone guy also says they were found on vary short notice, and any questions about these temporary suits concerning there appropriateness/ Relevance should be deflected

6:41 Maybe it's a bug, or maybe that's specific one doesn't count. 26:44 I feel like good is subjective here, he is a antagonist to us but he's not evil as his goal is ultimately pure good with preventing the Mimic from escaping. 32:00 The Mimic is normally associated with the White Tiger however that's a lion, something that is similar but not the same so more proof that it's all Is a parallel. There is also a actual lion suit in the book but it's grayish-purple and not brown like here so not the same either. 32:30 Something I've been thinking about is all this should be built by Henry including that scooper so I wonder what he was doing here. Another thought is those suits could be the ones mentioned in Fnaf 3. If all of this was built by Henry it's clear he wasn't doing nothing all that time, maybe he had the Mimic down here as Gregory says it's been down there a long time which would indicate it's been there since Fnaf 6 as if it entered when the Pizzaplex was built that wouldn't be a long time ago. People have found that that thing is called a scooper which makes me think that maybe Henry was also testing with remnent or something. 38:08 The mask seems to show things you want as a lot of things are Roxy themed when they don't actually exist. I think this image is the mask giving you one final moment of calm before you die, pretty dark. 40:45 It's not just the subtitles but that the speaker crackles in a weird way, just like it does sometimes with the Mimic on the Roxy-talkie. 41:18 I just think it would be weird that he would save you and then kill you. 41:37 It's still the a bad ending as either we're dead or we're trapped and is likely the canon ending. Though if we're trapped we might have Roxy so that would be nice or it's the Mimic copying Roxy which would really suck but it's unlikely as the Mimic doesn't have a use for her so no need for tricks.

You need to DEactivate 27 of the wet floor bots in total to open Bonnie Bowl secret and can miss 1 or 2. The one next to the secret entrance only appears when you have deactivated the right number.

NIGHTCOVE :D u can go to the menu of ruin and select "Profile 1" Not "Continue", but the one underneath it when you do, an option appears that reads "chapter select" (either that or it brings up chapter select menu automatically) and u can start wherever u want in the game :D what im trying to say is that you dont have to play through the entire game every single time :D and ur progess saves no matter which chpter u choose to start from :D

another person said that the suits are from the books, as one of them are described in one of the TFTPP books (the lion one) and can't be from Fazbear's Fright as these ones fit the Mimic, but wouldn't fit a regular person as the Mimic is 7 feet tall, making it, one of the tallest characters in all of FNAF, or the second tallest with a confirmed height of 7 feet, just under Circus Baby's confirmed 7'2 height. Springtrap/Scraptrap/William Afton/Glitchtrap/Burntrap is the unofficial tallest character, with 0 confirmed height, but estimated to be around 7'3-7'6.

Welcome to Brazil. The ending of Vannessa and Gregory being okay is called the Brazil ending because the movie Brazil is about a man going into his fantasy world in his head to escape reality which i assume is what happened when Cassie put back on the mask because the mask is somewhat of a fantasy connected to her mind because of the cardboard cut outs and some of the soda machines that where some other character instantly turn into her favorite character Roxanne. So, in that ending, I assume she goes into her fantasy and dies.

Sam when in the beginning when Gregory says i-I’m Gregory, the mimic also says that. So in conclusion the mimic recorded Gregory’s voice and he was always there

I have a couple of different thought in the elevator ending... 1. Yes it could be Gregory but like how? He is long gone from that place... 2. Its the Mimic in one last ditch attempt to stop Cassie from escaping. Like if it can't leave no one can? 3. Its a effort from the security system to trap the mimic. If Cassie dies thats fine but if she doesn't at least the Mimic can't lure her with Greg's voice again. 4. It is someone else entirely mimicking Gregory's voice perhaps whoever created the mimic in the first place mot wanting the secret to get out.

About Princess quest to me it's much more interesting to be about Vanessa rather than cassidy and i'm still unsure why people think this is about Cassidy when she clearly has more power over Afton or whatever that thing is. Plus in the minigames you picked the mask of vanny and the glitchtrap plush which is confusing for a character like cassidy she has 0 link to any to these items but vanessa does. And about the endings it's very interesting and confusing but now which endings is the canon one? Guess it's either cassie's dead/hurt and betrayed or you're saved by the machine soo.

So random questions In the ending scene Gregory says my friend has like a map to get out of here or directions or something but he mentions a friend Also in the elevator at the end he says we cant be followed If the friend is Vanessa why would he team up with her??? And also my first thought was that the friend was freddy but not im not sure and in the secret ice cream ending what happened to him? Did Vanessa use his parts to keep the mimic traped??? Was the prototype actually freddy

Wait a minute Gregory did not betray Cassie , think about it and security breach the base game when Gregory and Freddy go down there to Afton Freddy says this "I do not think this elevator can survive more than one trip" that's the same elevator Cassie used when she went down there to the mimic therefore that elevator could not survive that more than one trip so it dropped her down and Gregory knew that it would drop her down that's why he said I'm sorry cuz he knew it only could survive one trip
