Hi, there is a production issue in my project which I can't reproduce in QA environment. What does that mean? How to handle such issues?

Hotfix- Mainly comes under agile model.Means when we launch product to the production and there defect found. Then developers and test engineer immediately conduct a meeting and find a solution for that defect, they create a patch and remove the previous patch and launch the modify patch. They fixed that immediately that's why it is called Hotfix.

Bug fix is something that happens during regular execution.. you execute cases, find bugs.. dev fix those.. u get another build to verify the bug fix.. after testing, you have a build that you push to production... in production, if users facing some major issue, the dev will fix that issue and again push to prod which is hotfix... ABC is the build previously sent to prod.. users reporting bug.. so hotfix = ABC + Bug fix of user. Hope you got my point
