Illuvitars are creative, hand-drawn versions of our Illuvials that exist beyond the Illuvium Universe. Illuvitars have distinct expressions, backgrounds, accessories, and finishes that differ in rarity and determine their power rating.
IlluviTars and Accessories are sold in two types of D1sks: standard and mega, with the latter containing a guaranteed rare Illuvitar. You can load your D1sk immediately, save it, trade it or sell it.
Illuvitars are sold in waves, with ultra rare, highly sought after alphas, kicking off each wave in a time limited sale.
Permanently bond accessories to your Illuvitar to boost its power rating with five slots: skin, body, eyes, head, and props. There are billions of potential combinations, so make your Illuvitar one-of-a-kind.

I like everything about it, except the price, it's a bit overprized imo considering the amount available ánd the amount you have to buy for a full collection. But compared to other NFTS I guess they're inexpensive. That being said, I will probably buy a couple of standard disks, just to have the experience, a fun PfP and to support the Game!

The Illuvium ecosystem is super confusing. There is an overworld game, an auto battler, a mobile game, and now a collectible card game. None of them are live. Each has different NFT requirements and all are interconnected. This is FOMO nightmare, unless you play and participate in all layers and spend a ton of money. Oh, and there is ILV, sILV, sILV2, different staking pools and mechanisms... this is a full time job to optimize as a user. Feels like a chore to keep up.

Different games for different people that like different things. While none are officially live, Beyond/Illuvitars launches tomorrow, the others are all available to play in alpha/beta status and looking great. NFTs from one game aren't required in any of the others, with the exception of needing illuvials for autobattler PvP, but even then you can build a T0 only deck quickly and easily. Illuvitars (collectibles) CAN be used as PFPs in the other games. Blueprints from the land builder game CAN be used to make skins in Overworld for use in both Overworld and PvP autobattler. You can play any of the games free-to-play, exception being Beyond/Illuvitars. Tokens are also not needed for gameplay. ILV is a governance/investor token. sILV doesn't exist anymore. sILV2 is a limited time thing for investors to use as gift cards, which will be going away soon.

@@matthewyauch9291 yeah I understand a bit, but still think the ecosystem is being designed in a way where if you dont play the other modes, you dont have the complete experience or wont be competitive in the pvp. The f2p illuvials likely wont cut it.

On the computer yes. Real life cards like Baseball for example, that are actually connected to a real person/team and accomplishments is interesting imo.
