As I am trying to improve my sewing skills (I use a featherweight 221 that was my grandmother's) I want to try to start sewing some curves. This type of quilting looks like a great way to start doing that since you don't have to get so crazy accurate on the block size. I'm going to give it a go!

I too have suffered through tiresome definitions of what is modern quilting. I think what we really mean is "non-traditional", period!
