What is intelligence? Nobel Week Dialogue 2015: The future of Intelligence

Is it possible to define intelligence? The panel discusses this topic in addition to exploring how people are affected by all interactions that we experience daily in the real world and on social media.
Participants: Margaret Boden, Research Professor of Cognitive Science at the University of Sussex; Barbara Grosz, professor of science at Harvard University; Edvard Moser, Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine 2014; Helga Nowotny, Professor and member of the Academy of Sciences. The discussion was moderated by Göran Hansson, Secretary General of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.

Intelligence is too broad to define but i think it is the full utilisation of the human mind to benefit the world and the universe at large.

Intelligence is the discovery of truth and perceiving a pattern of that truth in every discipline

So far the world was aware of only three intelligences , namely IQ, EQ, and SQ. Now the panelist added one more to it. That is Social Intelligence. Of course the first three are the branches of a root ( social science) of a tree. Still , the intelligence is not universal but very much specific. Just like the DNA varies from individual to individual. Also it is difficult to measure it in a measuring tool/ system. It will remain beyond human understanding in the days to come. Good to hear the facts from the panelists.Thank you.

Intelegence is When you can't do the right things, try to do the things right. In other words, how to tailor things based on environment, language and cultures

"I know it when I see it" computers were already passing the Turing Test before this was filmed. So apparently we don't know it when we see it, (or a simple script is "intelligent".) I define intelligence as, "maximising possibility over time, solving tasks and fighting entropy." ( I enjoy listening to M.A. Boden and the final point made by B.J. Grosz.)

Its already here, AI is any part of human interaction with machines, i.e me on my laptop, cellphone or any other electronic device watching over ip. Learning and training already on youtube or other interactions over the digital multimedia platforms esp in the ip platform.
