Bro I am stuck in a situation..I hope u can help me...I am currently in my 12th and I am 16 years...I want to go for indigo cadet program right after my 12th completes...and I have my parents support too...but indigo's cadet program minimum age is 18..but after my 12th completes I will be 17...my dad is saying that after 12fh completes do your medicals, and whatever needed..and after that join a coaching for the entrance exam of indigo cpp...and once u r 18 join the cadet program...and to not sit idle for 1 year join an online degree...I feel it's a good idea but..I also have a feeling to not waste 1 year just for cadet program ! My dad doesn't like to send me for conventional way...pls say ur opinion on this. ❤️

I will try to answer as per my understanding... 1) first of all there’s no confirmation about resumption of CPP....so i can’t say exactly whether you will get chance to sit in entrance exam or not i.e when you turn 18....because third wave of corona is on its way...and it could possibly hit by august as per WHO ( yesterday’s news )...and afterwards also...nobody knows how long this corona thing will continue.... 2) Your father is right as per my opinion....instead of sitting idle and waiting for something with so much uncertainty...its better to do something productive...be it a degree or anything..in which you are interested or could help you in future...degree has its own importance, pros and cons...but it will always help you directly or indirectly...that i can assure you...especially in tough times...also during airline interview they might ask you what you did after 12th..and if you say i was just sitting at home waiting for program to open...then that will not create a good impression according to me...at least by doing something..you can create a good impression that you are a learner and time is important for you... 3) If you can easily afford CPP and your parents are also supporting you financially and mentally...then its better to opt for cadet path as per my opinion...it’s hell expensive but at the end it removes lot of uncertainty factors in terms of job...the only thing is you must perform as per airline standards...and last but not the least.. 4) Get your medicals done asap...this should be your first priority before thinking or taking decision about pilot training... Ok bro...but underweight or overweight is not an issue for your medicals...they will just do few extra tests if required....so don’t worry much about it...ok...but still its good if you try to maintain your BMI between 18-25....this is the normal acceptable range as far as I remember....Thanks

Some of my viewers commented that skyborne has started their registration portal again...I don’t know whether they are taking application for indigo cpp or other courses...because there’s no such news from indigo side ( as per my knowledge )....but still i would suggest you to contact them...Thanks

2022 was the tentative year, not just because of Covid but also because Indigo has a huge backlog of cadets in waiting ( including conventional CPL batch). But it can be earlier too, so keep a lookout on the websites of the FTOs.

Bro as there is lack of preparation material or sample papers for the IGRUA entrance exam so instead can we practice the NDA or air force examination sample papers??? (i.e whether the difficulty level of both the exams are same or whether they ask same type of question???)

Then you have to arrange it bro...by doing any job or business or whatever opportunity comes in your way....you can try for flight instructor, ground instructor or sim instructor or defence pilot and other aviation jobs....this way...you can earn and gain experience at the same time... My personal advice : Don’t enter this field without sufficient money or financial planning...otherwise you might have to struggle for money ...later on...i am not demotivating you..but i am trying to tell you the truth...because this is an expensive profession...each and every step requires huge amount of investment....

Yes....it’s possible because as per my knowledge....there’s no specific requirements by DGCA related to height...but few airlines do have height requirements like minimum 158 c.m ...so may be you will face problem later on after CPL...best thing you can do is...go to any nearest DGCA approved flying school....and tell them about your problem...they will make you sit on sim or may be real cockpit if possible....aapko isse clear idea hojaega..Thanks

As per DGCA rule you just need passing marks in 12th class...with physics and maths as your subject...but flying schools and airline cadet program have their own set of induction criteria..based on 12th only...like overall percentage or subject wise marks or Phy, Maths, English combined or individually...so its upto them... But only 12th matters not 10th...but you definitely need 10th certificate as well...kyuki ye kuch kuch process ke liye zaruri hai ..like computer number application ...license issue process..etc etc...Thanks
