I thought they were going to remove the coordinator node in IOTA 2.0.. What exactly happened to that idea? Isn't IOTA 2.0 already deployed/ will it be deployed in the foreseeable future?

IOTA 2.0 has been released in the test-net as of May 2024. They annoyingly delayed 2.0 as they focused on all of these other new features instead.
