I've always wanted to open a koi farm in Sonoma California. It would be a fun break, "oh tired of tasting wine like you've been doing for the past four days straight? come check out our koi farm."

A very enjoyable video. I found your explanation of what you look for in a koi well paced and easy to understand, which I have not always found with other explanations I’ve seen, so kudos for that. Some lovely camera work as well.

Great video! I have a few pressing questions 1. What happens to koi no one wants? 2. If the farmers sell their best koi what do they use for breeding stock? Are there breeders that are not for sale? 3. Is there are Koi that you wish you bought but didn't that haunts your dreams? 4. Do you get a refund if a fish does not survive the trip home? Does this happen?

loved the video and the information. My one gripe..and its the same with all koi buying videos..we never get an idea of costs. I would love to know what a few of the individual fish cost..just for information.

The breeders are always harvesting more koi, haha. And yes! You have to be there. It is so true. I would love to come on a trip like this. I would be afraid to go on my own. I would probably get lost. It looks like a great time.
