I just can’t get over how expensive New England is. We’re coming from Alaska next year and it’s just crazy to think all of those states are more expensive in many ways than the middle of Alaska.

Yes, prices have gone up and it is more challenging to purchase in this real estate climate. There are parts of VT though that are more affordable, for example, Rutland and Orleans counties where the average sales price is nearly less than 1/2 the Burlington area. I grew up in Burlington it’s really sad to see Burlington has been overtaken by crime and drugs. Businesses are hurting because of the failed policies the local politics. We’ve lost so many business in Burlington in recent years anybody that doesn’t acknowledge that is blind.
