What is it like to visit and camp at the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon?

Hello Cali Camper family. Thank you for your videos. The whole family at home loves to follow your adventures! We visited the campsite lounge in Bern Switzerland in October. We are 6, our criteria were a 5-6 seater van and the 4 Motion. but the T6.1 is 5 seats but no 4 Motion! And the same for the Nugget. the only solution is the Marco Polo with 6 seats and 4x4 traction.

Hi Christophe! It’s lovely to hear that you guys enjoy following our adventures! And it is nice to hear from someone else who has a (big!) family and wants the same things as we do. 6 is even more challenging, especially with 4x4. There are a few specialist companies in Switzerland doing 4x4 conversions to vehicles, but the cost is high. For example, there is a ‘Clever’ van made in Germany based on the Citroen/Fiat Ducato van for families that has the option for 6 seats and has the possibility for 4x4 (4 Dangle 4). Talbot Express "Herb" Adventures it is not easy with kids, that’s for sure! And we were knackered at the end! We are however, off to the Stuttgart show in January for more punishment, as we are getting more serious about getting a bigger van, maybe the Ford Nugget Plus?! Thanks for commenting, J.

How do you get tv, films on your nav display

jim3999 we changed the original GPS/CD player with an aftermarket one. It is very ‘connectable’ and allows us to play movues for the kids. We have a repeater screen for the kids in the back...great for long journeys..! Thanks for watching!
