I think he's pretended to have gotten over it for a long time, but also shown signs here and there that he is still salty. Mate these people have no clue; the vast majority of them have never been in any sort of gym, whether weights, boxing, grappling or otherwise. Ask anyone who's done 'shark tank' sparring before. Even if you do well in a round, the second someone fresh comes in, you realise how tired you are in comparison.

The reason it's easier in this instance is because of the 3 rounds WITH the 3 hour break in between. JJ has been conditioned to go far beyond 6 rounds, possibly even 12 from what he says so 3 rounds is absolute light-work to him and unless he sustains any significant injuries (cut, gets rocked etc ) then 3 hours is MORE than enough time to recover from 3 rounds of fighting in order to do another 3 rounds of fighting. The only factor that Simon said that makes some sense is the two different opponents, HOWEVER, one of them was Swarmz lol. Anyone with a brain knew that wouldn't even be a fight it would just be a beating lol. And in regards to the adrenaline dump point, 3 hours later is enough time for ur body to recover from the dump and walking out again in front of 90k ppl, against an opponent who u DK the skill level of will be enough to have adrenaline going through ur body, ESPECIALLY when it's 3 hours later.

JJ is going up against another guy 3 hrs later, after only fighting 3 rounds, (which he is conditioned to go FAAAR beyond) against SWARMZ of all ppl lol.

1 6 rounder is worse tho. If you’ve been in the ring you’d know. Fatigue doesn’t hit you linearly so after 3 rounds the 4th, 5th, and 6th is where you start digging into your reserves. So only having 3 rounds, then having time to recover, then going 3 rounds again is more than enough time for your stamina to recover, lactic acid to deplete, and for your hormones to stabilise. If you saw the fights you could see JJ looked just as fresh in the 2nd as he did in the 1st and that’s the reason why. But ultimately it didn’t even matter because whether he spent 6 rounds or 12 with both his competitors, he still would’ve finished the fights as quickly as he did bc it’s not JJ who couldn’t have lasted two 6 rounders, it’s Swarmz and Pineda.

The thing I find beyond hilarious is simple: If JJ actually manages to knock both Swarmz and Pineda out tonight, then that simply means he could have had both fights scheduled for 12 rounds and it wouldn't have made a damn difference. None of us realistically see Swarmz going to distance, and Pineda had no chin at 150ish or whatever, he's likely to get dropped within 3 rounds too... So if we see 2 knockouts in the main event(s), then rounds meant fuck all.

nah its way easier to fight with break inbewtween. you know why. Momentum. at a point in a fight there is going to be momentum shifting. if momentum is not in your favour in the later rounds. you are in serious trouble. Tennis players get in sheit all the time because sometimes a player will stay in timeout for longer than allowed. it Disrupts flow of the momentum. as we saw he had 2 sheish opponents but. lets say one of the fighters gained momentum at the end of the third round... 12 rounds is necessary so that you can be sure of the victor. its way harder to regroup your mind middle of 5th round when your taking a beating, then resting and restarting a 3round.
