CROCHETED BABY DINO! How adorable is this idea?! What child wouldn't want one of these (MINI DINO) dinosaurs? Today is all about putting the finishing touches on this snuggly, wuggly, cuddly mini knotted lovey. This (CROCHETED AMI) amigurumi, project worked up pretty fast and was a lot of fun. A new twist (twisted knotted lovey... haha) on crochet for me.. pun intended! Crochet it, gift it....they are going to love you for it...

CAMP BOGGY CREEK..
Every Tuesday night at 8 PM EST Nancy (shezgotyarn2) and Lynette (charmedgrammycrochet) are doing KZbin Live. They go back and forth between their channels each Tuesday where they answer any questions we may have about Camp Boggy Creek.. Plus they are just so much fun to watch/listen to. They also have guest appearances from other Podcasters or whomever they decide they'd like to have on as a guest.
And on Wednesday nights Billie (craftyfloridian), Nancy (shezgotyarn2) & Lynette (charmedgrammycrochet) go Live to show off the beautiful blankets that our crafting community make.
The analaskancrafter (Jan)...has I think 4 patterns we can use to make certain blankets for Boggy Creek if we'd like to use them. And now Jennifer from Cinnamon Stitches on KZbin also made up a Boggy Blanket pattern we can use.
You can send 5 x 5 inch crochet squares into LynAnne over at Ninasknotscrochet. Look in her channel description box for her address. Send your squares to her. She will make them into a blanket for the kiddos at the camp.

I have been looking at those adorable non-stuffed kind of ami and I think they are sooo cute! That knotted dino is absolutely adorable 😍 Def inspired me!! I am so sorry that lady at the thrift store checkout was so rude, ughhh. That is a BIG pet peeve of mine! Especially when we are driving and people want to rev up and zoom past us, or other road rage-y type of behavior. I just always say "well they are in a hurry! no hurry is worth your life!" It is so rude but even dangerous to act like that. Like you said, plan better if you are in such a hurry! It is a thrift shop, no one HAS to go to the thrift store lol. If you are too busy to be kind (or at least decent??) then you should not being going in the first place. *steps off of my soap box* 🤣💗💗 I love your hat with your glasses, so stinking cute!!

Very cute. It sure does have a lot of fidgity parts. I just bought a no sew elephant pattern but 7 of the parts are made separately and then crocheted to the body. Guess that's why they can call it a no sew. Kind of misleading! I like the patterns where there are no parts added in later. You did great. Woman at Goodwill, some people don't understand etiquette and she would be a waste of energy. Say nothing, smile and rant to your partner lol!! Take care

Great to see ya here again!!! Yes, I've come across some patterns that say "no sew" yet you end up sewing... I just shrug it off. I just enjoy crocheting no matter what, and I am always excited to get to the end....where my project is brought to life, so-to-speak. I love it. That lady --> I could just feel such negative energy from her. She almost was breathing out her anxiety. High anxiety. I feel bad for her in a way, you know?

Hello, Kaidence!! Mine measures around 18 inches long...that is only 4 more than what you would like. The only reason it is a little big is because of the yarn that I chose. If I were to use maybe a 4 weight yarn and use a smaller hook, than the dino would be smaller. Using bigger plushy yarn makes it softer and cuter. It could certainly be done, but may I ask why you are requesting this?
