Hi vignesh, SOP is standard operating procedure. It will tell that how a process or work to be done from start to end. It will be prepared for a specific process or operation only. But control plan will be prepared for entire processes for producing a part. It will contain the process parameters, specifications, controls and action plan in case of any issue. Kindly see model SOP and control plan for better understanding. Control plan video will be posted in our channel soon.

Hi Santhosh kumar, there is no specific rule to use corrective action reports (8D, A3 sheet, CAPA,etc) in particular area / issues. It is based on customer requirement only. If customer having specific format, we have to give action plan in their format. Otherwise we can use any formats based on our procedure
