Thanks for the video. I was hoping for more of a detailed explanation as to how it works. How do teams work? Are they competing as a team and individuals?

You need the money that much ? Adam Shiff should be the commissioner

Well the more big name players joining LIV the less likely that PGA will ban these players because they need these big names

How long will the Saudis be willing to lose money? No way they turn a profit. They need a huge tv contract and without big names they won’t get it .

It’s just so weird having no cut and all that
@lrn_news91712 жыл бұрын
No cut and 3 rounds. All the other tours around the world are 4 rounds and have a cut. Not sure if I like the idea.

All the older players are joining because they know they won’t win again on the PGA tour, and it’s more money

Dustin Johnson is not old he still has 10-15 years of competitive golf in him

Hats what I was thinking. Usually once they’re about 30 they starting goin downhill physically so these 20 tournaments probably are very hard on a lot of these guys bones and joints. Especially with the torque and force that all these guys have. I have a small worry because I love the PGA and dont want to see it damaged. BUT, if LIV takes off and becomes a good place to watch high level golf then I’d more than welcome it

@@pokemaster729 I can relate as I worked in private industry until I was 47. Since then I’ve had a government job. The job is easier and it pays more and there’s a pension and you can’t get fired. These golfers, like Ana and Poulter, know they will never win a major anyway.
@lrn_news91712 жыл бұрын
@@pokemaster729 That's not what I've observed a lot of times golfers actually reach their prime in their 30s, take Justin Rose for instance, he was a "late bloomer" he had his biggest run in his mid 30s to like 40 years old, that includes becoming world #1 Steve Stricker is another example of a late bloomer. Lots of 30 year olds are in the top 50 in the world golf ranking. Golfers start declining a bit later than other athletes because being good at golf doesn't require you to be very fit physically. The age that golfers really decline is somewhere between 42-45 and even then many golfers in their early to mid 40s are winning and some have even won majors.

Let’s put this in perspective so the haters understand DJ for met number one multiple major winner has only made 77million in 9 years on pga They have him 125 million to just join. GET IT YET, do you understand now

Pros only have to play 15 tournaments a year And LIV wins do not count towards world rankings. If you run a golf KZbin channel maybe you should know what your talking about.
@prestonbacchus42042 жыл бұрын
As a practical matter, if you are not playing events recognized by the ranking system, within a year all of these guys will have dropped out of the higher ranks and probably would not qualify for majors, unless they are former winners.
