Good teaching! Many man made rules are only to make life a little harder, thus creating a “feeling” of being holy. It’s not a sin unless the Word says it’s a sin,

Thanks for this teaching! I am struggling with something pertaining to this matter. I want to teach folks how to gain their health back and will use exercise as a tool. This can become a very carnal venture when one becomes obsessed with his own vanity. Any tips on how to avoid this avenue? I believe it’s good to strengthen our physical bodies, but far too many look in the mirror for guidance instead of getting on their knees.

In general, living in the flesh is not sinful or evil, as we are all human and it is part of our nature to do so. However, what we do with our bodies can lead to sin. Worshiping and glorifying God with our bodies is a good thing that can be seen as “of the flesh.” To live in the spirit means to not only live according to his teaching, but also to serve others through the works of mercy and service. That is, using our flesh to bring about good. A large way that one lives sinfully in the flesh today is idolatry, how many people put sports, technology, pleasure, money, or leisure above God? The Holy Spirit does help us in obeying God’s laws and avoiding sin, however the spirit has the ability to work through all people, even the worst sinner can be a temple for the Spirit. I really like this ministry, but there are multiple things you have covered from the few videos I’ve watched that are incorrect. Specifically on Church teaching and definitely on how the Bible is interpreted. I’d ask you to please cite which translation you are using for your Bible quotes when you use it. As well as not relying only on Solo Scriptura when you are commenting on these things. The Bible is filled to the covers with truth, but context must be understood, and the authority of church leaders must be acknowledged. There are many saints who also spoke on this exact thing, St. Jerome being one of them, I feel like they may aid you in actually understanding more of these topics - and not just interpreting how you think it is - especially during these modern times. I do not mean for this to come off as rude or offensive or anything similar, this is just my two cents of things this ministry may be lacking, and how improvements can be made. God Bless

While I agree with you that I've noticed several mistakes in teaching from this channel, concerning this video you are incorrect in your interpretation. If living in the flesh means death but living by the spirit means life, it is simply another way of stating John 3:16, those who believe will have eternal while those who are unbelievers will perish. Also walking in the spirit vs the flesh is referring to those who put their faith in Jesus for salvation(spirit) vs those who trust their own works for righteousness and still following the laws of Moses to be saved.

@@thelionofjudah77u82 my comment is not based of my interpretation, but rather the teaching authority of the Church. We can not achieve Heaven without living in the spirit, but living in the flesh doesn’t lead to certain death of the soul and Hell.
@thelionofjudah77u822 жыл бұрын
@@_Bumby_ The authority of the church teaches this? What do you mean specifically when you say the authority of the church? My point is that living by the spirit vs the flesh is simply whether or not you have the spirit abiding in you and to receive the Holy Spirit it comes simply by believing in Jesus
@_Bumby_2 жыл бұрын
@@thelionofjudah77u82 the authority of the Church refers to the passing down of the authority Christ gave to his Apostles, and the Church Fathers who are understood to have similar authority. It also also important to note, the Holy Spirit can work in all people, regardless if they are believers or not. It may be somewhat easier for the Spirit to work in one of faith, but it is not limited by human things. It should also be said that the Holy Spirit is certainly present in the Holy Sacraments, particularly of Baptism and Confirmation. Lastly just believing in Christ is not living in the Spirit, much more must be done to feel fully alive in both the flesh and the Spirit. This is the truth, you are free to interpret but please know that not every interpretation is correct.
@thelionofjudah77u822 жыл бұрын
@@_Bumby_ "Much more must be done"? Such as? If you read the scripture in context you'll see what I said is correct and Paul is speaking of those going back to following the laws of Moses to be saved instead of believing in Jesus for salvation

The flesh has no power over those who have truly been Born Again. The struggle is when people try to conquer their sin by their own power, because they have not received the Holy Spirit: Collosians 2:11 "and in Him (Jesus) you were also circumcised with a circumcision performed without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ," Romans 8:9-11 "But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you." 1 John 3 "Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister." When Paul spoke about his struggles with sin, he was speaking about his past before he received the Holy Spirit, because he also said: 1 Corinthians 15:34 : "Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God-I say this to your shame." Paul also said, "Those who are in the flesh cannot please God." Romans 8;1-8 When Jesus said, "The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak." He had not sent the Holy Spirit yet. Jesus told the Pharisees, "You will die in your sins." For anyone who dies in their flesh, they are guaranteed to end up in Hell. “For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.” Romans 8:13. God's grace does not allow us to go on sinning. God's grace changes us. God's grace does not free us to sin. It frees us from sin. Decieved people have faith that they can sin until the day they die and still go to heaven, but they don't have faith in the power of the Holy Spirit to free them from sin. To deny the power of the Holy Spirit to deliver us from sin so that we can live a righteous life is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

You have the comments turned off on your end of days tribulation series I'd like to know why? Is it because what you're preaching is false? You talk about John salt Jesus in the past? Are you seriously preaching this? You say you test everything and that's what you come up with? My brother you need to get right. You're so wrong so extremely wrong about that and then telling others makes it all the more worse. We are not children of wrath we are God's elect tribulation is ahead of us the rapture is ahead of us the Antichrist is ahead of us all the plagues all the seals all of that is ahead of us not in the past. I hope you find the right answers brother but preaching that is not right I would get off KZbin if I was you, I love you in Christ brother but you're wrong you're so wrong.

Buddy there are a plethora of views and perspectives on the “end times” pre-mill, post-mill, amill etc. If you really think one’s position in that has great bearing in the grand scheme of God’s plan for salvation and reconciliation with his creation, you need to get right with Him. God bless.

There are zero examples of this contrasting the spirit and the flesh inTorah. Paul used this contrast to pit the keeping of commandments (flesh) against the spirit (the faith or believing in jesus) in order to disarage faith in YHWH alone for faith in a man. When YHWH spoke to the Israelites and commanded them to keep the commandments He was speaking to men of flesh and spirit and never separates the two when speaking of life and death or good and evil. Num_27:16 Let YHWH, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation, Job_19:26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: Psa_16:9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. Psa_63:1 A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; Psa_84:2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of YHWH: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God. Pro 4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Pro 4:21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. Pro 4:22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

Yeshua is not just “a man” most if not all of the verses you referenced are examples of the faith of men in the Torah believing in the promise of their redemption by the promised Messiah, Yeshua the prophesied Messiah.

@@sergloera Negatory there good budy, they never put their faith in any man. True they looked forward to a messiah but not a messiah who would be God or claimed to be God in the flesh. YHWH is the focus of their faith because they were commanded to not put their trust in flesh but in YHWH alone. To worship Him alone as God. You only believe your man/ god to be the promised messiah/ god because of what the new twistament says and not what YHWH says. That makes you a christian and an idolator. Exo 20:2 I am YHWH thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Exo 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.
