I absolutely love Ulquihime. Ulquihime fanart was the thing that brought me to bleach. I’m really happy tho that I decided to read manga and not watch anime. Ulquihime suffered the most in anime, lot of details were changed or cutted so the whole picture is different. I even think Ulquiorra in manga is slightly different character. He showed more gentle looks towards Orihime. It’s pity that Ulquihime fans became quite silent, because this relation definitely was there. In Bleach Unmasked is literally written “Ulquiorra’s spinning bond with Orihime” and “While coming contact with Orihime, he came to understand “heart” which is non-comprehensible in any sense, and understood it deeply before long.” “On the verge of exhausting his life force, an extending hand reached out, let one's “heart” be this person in this hand…”. So at least them creating some kind of bond is undeniable. There were other signs like poems etc. for example the chapter with the slap scene is called “Unblendable” and at the end of this chapter are two reaching hands with words “everything divide us”. Ulquihime is written in details and signs, maybe that is why it’s quite hard probably to get it…

Ulquiorra and Orihime are the most adorable couple. I watched Bleach when I was still in school (around 2011). I remember crying when Ulquiorra died 🦇. I recently reviewed the moments with Ulquiorra and Orihime (she gives him a slap in the face in episode 159, if anything). I cried again 😭. I saved a lot of art with them again and re-read a lot of fanfiction and doujinshi. How I wish Ulquiorra and Orihime were together..💔 I was extremely disappointed that she ended up staying with Ichigo. Great video and music. Thanks to the author!

I mean no disrespect but what people don't understand is that they extragrrate Orihime and Ulquiorra's relationship by shipping them. The whole concept of Ulquiorra being interested in heart wasn't even there until his final battle with Ichigo started. So far he mentally tortured Inoue and made her suffer. In the end he had his character development when he realized all his manipulations has failed. He was dying anyway but to make sure that he had character development he willingly disappeared. He was grateful to Inoune but not in a romantic way. Inoue being the sweet anime girl felt bad for him. It was nothing but pity. Shipping her with Ulquiorra someone who' has abused and mentally tortured her is disrespectdisrespectful to her character and it is disrespectful to her feelings towards Ichigo

2024. Fanfictions are the only sources where i can see these two together. Oh well...i m always a sucker for stories where the cloudy bad guy gets fixed by a sunshine girl. That is the reason why ulqihime appealed more to me than ichihime because orihime had a huge huge impact on ulqiorra by the end. It ended tragically tho. So all i have left now is support ichihime. This is also the reason i absolutely adore toji x mamaguro from jjk.

There is totally has nothing to do with romance at all. This creature (Ulquiorra, I guess the Espadas are like aliens but with beautiful looks not scary) never understands about human's heart. Tite chooses Orihime, since She is described as someone with the purest heart, so She is the correct person to help him understanding the concept of human heart. Her faith in Ichigo&Friends are something yet interesting for Ulquiorra that draws Him to finally understand about what He never understands and feels before. So weird for interpreting their interaction as a romance, like please...an alien and a teenage girl?! Horrible...
