My love is 4915 km away in Finland and she lights up my world everyday with her smile and her love for me. We may be oceans away but we feel our love in each of our hearts!! Our day is coming soon and our LDR will be over and I will be moving to Finland to start our new chapter in our Love story :)

Love you both for sharing your difficulties and thoughts. Found a quote I think that shows who you are. "When it rains, I share my umbrella. If I have no umbrella I share the rain" It also sums up how long-lasting relationships are if one can set aside one´s grey gloomy sides one discovered after love comes crashing down on you at the beginning of the relationship.

Sharing your stories like this is very courageous. It’s not easy for most people to open up. The next time you two run into a depression it might be easier to handle and quicker to get over because you won’t have the added anxiety of wondering if your spouse is going to be there for you. Now you know she is going to be there no matter what happens. Your loving relationship is so obviously super strong and built on a very solid foundation. Love and marriage is a fortress of well-being when handled right the way you are doing. I hope you have a gazillion wonderful and happy years together, living on the farm and raising your kids. ❤️

Love to me is that ability to receive or perhaps a better word is believe my partner actually does love me. That trust has always been hard for me to believe in. I've had the "love rug" yanked from under me so many times I lost belief that love is real. I know it can happen now. It took a great deal of trust and courage for Lauren to speak this truth. Lisa shows the same qualities. They love each other so much they KNOW they have each other's wellness in their hearts.

Love is staying there in spite of frustrations and disappointments. Communicating in spite of big misunderstanding. Love is showing up everyday because you truly want to. Love is valuing loyalty even though it bruises you. Love is the process of smoothing out the abrasiveness in self by occasional rubbing off with the loved one.

True love is most powerful in the darkest of places, it is unconditionally, timeless, it doesn´t care if you´re not deserving of it (in your mind) the flame will find its way and lick your soul! I struggle with depression too, among other things, when I met my husband I did everything I could the push him away, cos I didn´t deserve him or his love, but the more I pushed, the steadier he stood, when I was at my worst, and he was still there, willing to love me, even though I was so broken.....he is the reason I´m still alive today.....I´ll leave it at that, I now have a home in his arms, a safe place, protected, loved beyond my wildest dreams, and I love him as unconditionally. It´s kind of funny, you´d never think that you find true, pure love in such darkness and pain, and feeling so loved when you feel the most unworthy of it, and I didn´t think I was even capable of accepting love, even less to love someone one this level... For the last 14 years, he has made me laugh every single day, no matter how low I get, he always manage to make me laugh, and weirdly enough, we have not had a single fight in those years even though we are so different (but we both lean on communication, fear doesn´t have a place in our lives) it´s like we were born for each other :) 💜 So, what is love for me? simply put, Him, my one and only true, soul deep, bright burning flame, Love.

Love to me is very similar. Knowing that I can show all sides of me and still be loved is so new to me. Same for my girlfriend. Were also very big on physical affection. We're like two super cozy cats haha
