Love how articulate she is. She also handled a couple of typical interview questions ("what would you be doing if you weren't doing this?", and "what don't you like about your current job?") in ways that sounded very genuine, and for the latter question -- understandable without being negative.

Yes can relate to that.. What I definitely underestimated when joining McKinsey 6 years ago was how important Slide Writing skills are. In Consulting, it is just crucial to be able to work well with PowerPoint. I started my KZbin channel to share my experiences on Slide Writing skills and other related topics. Would love you to check it out! :)

Yup she fits the consulting mold - vague answers, spend time and money to travel, and rely on a few key experts in your firm to train all the youngsters (who the client is still paying for).

It didn't answer the basic question ie about the need for management consulting firm in the first place : Why does a large corporation need external consultants to give them solutions to their problems, 1) Does their leadership team who have decades of experience in that domain not good enough to brainstorm and solve it themselves. 2) Does those 5 young consultant bring to table some knowledge which their leadership team might not be even aware of. 3) Do corporations hire consultants just for some second unbiased advice, since they can neither seek help from customers nor competitors , so consultants might be a good neutral party for some second advice which their leadership team may decide to go by or reject. Is it so?

She is bragging like the sales of consulting companies, that’s it. Consultant like her aged are mostly fresh graduate, and literally knows nothing about the real business word. They are purely follow instructions from their Work flows, most of which doesn’t help at all and apply to specific companies.
@boknows82632 жыл бұрын
@@tinggu1506 she can learn things much faster than in a regular company. one year in consulting is equal to several years in a normal traditional company. consulting firm only hire the top students from top universities. Sundar Pichai worked for McKinsey before joining google.
