I don’t like this new trend in tech of having all your resources being outsourced to some outside services that you´ll continually have pay for at some point while losing all the control. It started with content, now everything is trying to be a service, from your storage to your operating system. I don’t like that. This falls into the realm of « You’ll own nothing and you’ll be Happy » category

100% agree can't even own my data without paying some type of subscription to do so. I eventually want to have my own NAS for all or most of my data backups. You ever do anything similar?
