What is Minimum Control Speed (Vmc)? Multi Engine Training

Vmc is the minimum control airspeed on a single engine for a multi engine aircraft. This video discuss what Vmc is, how to control the aircraft when an engine lose has occurred, what happens when an aircraft is allowed to slow to Vmc speed, and how to recover when encountering a Vmc Roll. Included in this video is an analysis of the the King Air 300 Accident which occurred in Addison, Texas in 2019.

Holy crap the entire explanation of VMC I was thinking of this exact crash in Addison. I worked at a company a couple years after, right next to that hangar it crashed into and got told the story. If that plane had gone but 100 yards further it would've gone upside down into a flight school with 50 some people inside.

Any time you can lower Vmc the safer the aircraft will be. The things discussed here only explain what each component (weight, Thrust on good engine, altitude, etc.) does to Vmc.
