A few aspects can also be added in criticism Like - This theory ignores political set ups , rights enjoyed by the citizens in that country. Ex- Arab countries are economically in well positions but can we call those nations moderanised?? Gender perspective - Condition of women and children have ignored while measuring modernization. Availablity of certain rights to citizens Availability of conditions to achieve full potential of human life. These could be basis of criticism Their could be more also..

Western bias : ladkiyan aaj kal lipstick wagera lagate hain not an Indian culture , kuch ladke chapri style ka haircut karte hain not an Indian culture due to westernization we are forgetting our roots of Indian culture and blindly moving towards and unknown path just as a puppet in the name of inetrnal external and linear development.
