I honestly believe a "cleaning up the world" video would get a good amount of views. Its a big trend rn with quite a few youtubers (granted they arent Minecraft youtubers), but I think itll give you a chance to do those tiny projects that youve mentioned and not have to worry too much about streaming AND getting a video out in one week :D Maybe you can just upload clips from the stream. Love your videos Fwip, cant wait to see more🌸🍀

i mean geminitay does episodes of hermitcraft with this kinda of idea, a clean up episode where shes done a good bit of the beauty in the "high visibility areas" episodes and then after a few she does a lets bring this together with everythings else/clean up videos and i honestly love them and would not mind if fwip did the same! i think it would be a hit!

I think a cool idea for a 1.21 build would be a savannah afrofuturistic city (like wakanda in the marvel comics) but instead of worshiping a panther god there is a wolf god who protected the villagers. You could incorporate the wolf armor there as a city police force

I think a great way to add some more lore to the world would be to build some ruins throughout the world, creating a sense of passing time, implying that this civilization isn't the first, and won't be the last! I think using time as a mechanic to make things feel more substantial is really cool.

I love these slower videos of you talking through your ideas and sometimes struggles as a content creator. I used to upload every week, then I fell behind I made it every two weeks. Then after having to take a break (my laptop broke), I came back uploading whenever I could and now once a month! I have a better laptop and a better microphone, I'm excited to edit and play, and I feel so much happier even if my video isn't a 1/10. Thank you for all of the inspiration, Stay Bubbly!

Hi fwhip. Regarding those particles, if you look at MrMattRanger (and its probably not his original idea but nethertheless) he uses unlit candles that float in the air to create artifical particles. It's nice since they can be colored, and you can have 1-4 candles in a block space and they are super flexible in their placement. Of course it is static, but from afar that might be okay. Cheers.

how cool is it to think that a little piece of me is now in your hardcore world! thank you so much for responding to my comment and elaborating on it more. of course i'm aware that there's a lot of editing that goes into making the end-product video look happy-go-lucky and effortless, and that it's part of your work to do so. the -ish part of the spontaneous-ish was referring to that, an acknowledgement that the videos are carefully curated but (as you said) not fully scripted. it's of course not a 2010 let's play but not a "we're gonna be doing A and then B and then we're done. bye!" which is arguably harder to achieve in a singleplayer series. it was not to undermine you or your editor's efforts at all! i'm sorry to hear there's a lot of things you feel like you can't do because of the way youtube works, but it makes sense. hopefully someday you'll get to a point in your career where you don't have to be so on edge about youtube's algorithm and its whims. until then i'll keep watching and being a member ❤

Generally, the roots of a tree are about as wide as the crown (branches and leaves) of the tree. For a tree this tall it would make sense to also root very deep

In my own world I have a giant mushroom that covers a village. I used green/ lime candles and glass panes coming down to create the spore effect. They do un-render but it’s neat when you walk through the city to see “spores”. Hope this helps!

Had an idea, not sure if it would be worth it(especiallyafter the algorithmdiscussion). But you should build a small "reading room/study" where questions of the day can be stored in game. I just had a mental image of someone sitting in a high backed chair and saying "Oh, you've caught me reading one of my favorite books..."

It's interesting that you talk about having to tailor your videos so tightly with the KZbin algorithm - because that's honestly the part that I least enjoy about your main channel videos. They can sometimes give off a highly 'produced' quality which I feel can take some of your own personality out of it. I still love the videos ofc, but I often prefer these second channel videos because they feel far more genuine and authentic, rather than being made with clicks and retention in mind. Not necessarily a criticism, just an observation

It’s disappointing to hear that KZbin “dings” you for slower play and detailed videos. Truly the “so much happening at once speed editing and mega builds in 30 seconds” just doesn’t connect for me. I enjoyed this slower video personally, but I understand needing to grow your channel and continue adhering to what KZbin algorithm wants since it is your job.

The considerations you have to make for the algorithm seem pretty draining. When you make videos that are more for yourself and less tailored to reaching numbers, how does that impact the channel and other videos? I have to think that you've already considered this, but from a viewer's perspective it seems like having occasional less-polished content is actually good for a channel because it makes viewers more invested in the person behind the content. It also breaks up the repetition and could appeal to a different demographic. What happens when you try this? Does your general audience respond less to it?
