I'm looking at your profile, you obtain your bachelor degree in mechanical engineering. And you're working as an education consultant that is a different sector. Does it mean that in Latvia working visa requirements does not require you to apply within your education background? Any job is OK. ?I'm talking because I have been living abroad in Asia. Hi ...in youtube who are currently study in Latvia mentioned that some points which are really negative points for who wish to come Latvia..if those are true ..what abt your comments on those in below. 1/under graduate who cant be granted 6month job seeking visa aftr compete degree and he/she need to follow master to live further latvia or else need to go own country ..2/who do master ..aftr complete 9monts job seeking visa not for job and need to find offer..and once he get a offer then he need to apply visa frm his own country not thrg latvia. 3/aftr 5 yrs complete still the PR process is not finalized and no one yet get PR.

It's going to be very difficult to do it. For positions like these, language requirements will come into play. They'll most likely need you to know Latvian and/or Russian. If you can find an international company that would hire you with just English, then you'll be lucky. People who study in Latvia even find it difficult to find a job post graduation and stay here. They usually try to apply to other EU countries. You can also try other EU countries. All this being said, check LinkedIn.com and Latvian government job pages to see if relevant jobs are available in Latvia in the fields you are applying for and if work visa is offered.

Yes any job is fine as long as the company is willing to give you the work visa. The requirement is the salary being a minimum of 1440 eur. This amount gets updated every year btw

Jelgava is a smaller city, so working there might be more difficult. Riga would give you more part time and post work opportunities. Jelgava would have much lower living costs tho. So you have to weigh the pros and cons
