Key concept of sufism: Tawhid (Oneness of God): Central to Sufism is the belief in the absolute oneness of God and the quest to experience this unity. 2)Ihsan (Perfection): Sufism emphasizes perfecting one's faith and actions to achieve closeness to God. 3)Mysticism: Sufism is characterized by a mystical approach to Islam, seeking direct personal experience of God through meditation, chanting (dhikr), and other spiritual practices. 4)Love: Sufi teachings often focus on divine love and the soul's journey towards God, highlighting the transformative power of love. 5)Asceticism: Many Sufis practice asceticism, renouncing worldly pleasures to purify the soul and deepen their spiritual connection.

I think the main reason for Nihilism in our society is failure and Good deeds. Failure is that when a person tries all the best but fails in every step of life. So he rejects everything. And good deeds is when a person is good by nature but people around him do bad. So he tries his best to change his nature.
@silly_.monkeyy5 ай бұрын
The main reason for nihilism in our society on fundamental level is limitedness of human brain. From very begining, the cause of Nihilism at first is irrational existence of Universe. They question "why in general there is need to create universe or the universe to exist?" So far, for nihilist, there are satisfying answers. The second reason is epistemological, they believe that human knowledge has no basis and it is all based on assumptions which makes our knowledge again baseless and subjective. On behalf of these points, thry derive the conclusion that the universe is meaningless and theres no purpose of life, and even if there is, it cannot be known. Also when a person goes through a nihilistic phase, they dont try to change their ethical beliefs, but rather they accept the philosophy of egoism/cynicism. Yeah Failure is the spark for the start of ones nihilistic journey. Therefore, I think your argument is quite irrelevent.

After one point of time, when you have lived your life, have given back to society, and still will be missing something special. That special will be available when you leave all these immortal things, called samsar, behind you and search for the immortal within you. Then Sufism (islamic version of stoicism) will come to help you. Everything that exists has its purpose. It is us, the limited beings, who criticise because of our ignorance that we don't know their purpose. Love from India, bro.

Dear Administrator of Book Buddy - your knowledge and study is very well and highly advanced that is a good indicator to follow. Yet what you've discussed here about Sufism that is totally limited approach. I would give a short description and will clear here, what I want to say. Islam has four stages: Shariat, Tariqat, Haqiqat and Marifat. Sufism is second stage of Islam. Sufism or theosophy is also called as Tariqat, so whoever progress through all these stages, they are called Wali Ullah. And those who progressed ahead of these Wali Ullah, they were Messengers of God. All messengers went through these 4 stages, and perched upon the highest status of human being, I mean, they reached at the stage of Insan e Kamil. These Messengers, Prophets, and Apostles were not ideal and model - highest personalities of their time, whether they didn't lead the people towards the best life. Let us give example of the last prophet - Hazrat Mohammad Mustafa, PBUH. Was He not the greatest Messenger who formed the best model Islamic state before 15th century in Arab. All Wali Ullahs and all past Messengers have crossed these 4 stages and they've reached to the highest stage that is called Insan e Kamil. So kindly do more research on sufism that is in other words theosophy and Tariqat - 2nd stage of Islam. Please don't attribute it as nihilism - that is absolutely wrong perception.
