पड़ सकती हैँ अगर आपका user Id ONU मे setup होगा तो। लेकिन अगर आपका id router मे setup हुआ होगा तो ONU चेंज करने से कोई प्रॉब्लम नहीं।

hello mam, i currently have an ONU which has "G/EPON" written on it. MY ISP currently uses EPON system and said that he is going to change it to GPON system, will i need to change my ONU as well? Or will it support GPON as well? ONU model is- "Metro ME105".

No need to change anything, that’s one and the same thing, you can use either gpon or epon.. doesn’t matter These are just terminals.. to convert lan to fiber.

@@ElectronicsByRaverz Thank you so much for the quick reply. That's also what i thought, but my ISP is saying that i will need to change the ONU as its not an XPON ONU. I just brought the archer ax53 after asking my ISP about it, to which he said ok and today he is saying ki he is switching to GPON system so i will need to change the ONU or get the XPON supported tp link xx230v, but the current ONU has written "G/EPON" over it. SO now I am confused beyond anything.

What if service providers give fiber connection through PLC splitters??The media converter only works point to point we can use them as a carrier only we can't configure to the media converter, but ont and onu work as cpe(customer premises equipment) and we can configure ont/onu on several mode like ppoe, statics ip/DHCP and even set as bridge and route mode run multiple services at one device 👍👍👍👍

Agar aapka internet fibre wala hai aur aapke router me fibre ka port nhi hai Jo ki mostly routers me nhi aata Then you need this ONU

Hello mam mara onu hamesha kharap ho jata ha 2 mahina under 3 baar kharap ho gya warranty ha but local vendor change kar deta kisi ka purana wala. Ma jab bhi isma kuch karna jata hoon manlo mera tplink teeno router ha 1normal aur 2nd wala dual band jab bhi change karna jata hoon mara onu kharap.. Yeh kis liye hota ha pls batana.. Vendor aur ma bhi padesan ho gya kya karu koi solution ha batana 🙏🙏

@@ElectronicsByRaverz maine offline market se syrotech 1000rs ma 1 new onu kharid liya bas thik ho gya. Aaj hi kharid ka laya. Maine sab kuch kharid liya. Local vendor ka kuch nhi ha sirf cable or black box baki maine sab onu wifi router buy kar liya alag se. Ab lagta hai kuch nhi hoga 😭

Madem ji mai bsnl ka fiber lagwana chahta hu aur mere pas pahle se onu aur router hai. Unhone bola ki humara fiber gpon par kam karta hai epon par nahi. Maine apna router aur apne friend ka router dekha jo ek hi line par chalta hai, friend ka gpon tha mera epon tha aur dono logo ka chal raha tha. Ye bol rahe hain ki ye router humare me kam nahi karega.
