Currently watching this at about 3am cause the pain woke me up. Trying to find things to do to help with the pain 😪. It is sooo bad. Happens constantly a week or two before my cycle. Feels a lot worse than menstrual cramps. Often wakes me up between 12-2am.

I get these too, they're absolutely awful, pain meds don't work at all for it, it's like sudden stabbing pain. 😞 I'm not sure where you live so these may not be available to you but what's worked for me are Lilas Patches, Thermacare Menstrual Patches, Tiger Balm, and the use of a hot water bottle. My favorite are both types of patches.

A hot bath is the only temporary relief I can get, but it is such a nice break from the pain! I highly recommend it if you have a bath tub!

I can completely relate to what she says about a sedentary lifestyle. This is exactly what has happened to me in the last year. I teach students online and can be sitting for up to 9 hours a day. I have been experiencing a lot of pain and what she explains about finding space in the abdomen makes complete sense. If you are a teacher, especially a teacher expected to sit in front of a computer for extremely long periods of time and are starting to experience symptoms, this could be the reason why. Dealing with painful ovulation and periods is so much harder mentally because I'm childfree. At least if I wanted to have kids in the future, I would know that I'm not suffering for nothing😭 It feels like I'm being tortured for something I'll never use, and it sucks.

i had a sharp stabbing pain in my lower left pelvic region and it lasted for 6 hours i got examined by a surgeon and a urologist and even got a ct scan and they said it was nothing they never thought they should've brought a gynaecologist to see me lol so i'm a medical student and during my gynaecology class i discovered it was only ovulation pain because i've always had similar pain in the middle of my cycle but not as bad so i never got it checked

suffering ovulation pain more than 10 years. first day vomiting, bowel pain, stabbing pain, cramping pain... continuous 10/7 days pain. reports shows endometriosis, Cyst and fibroid. i request Doctor to remove them. but Doctor said im in risks to do the surgery. best thing is remove whole ovaries and utress Doctor said but im not agree with that. why im in high risk to do the surgery why can't remove my illness without removing ovaries??? after heared Doctors decision still im worried and depress. can you help me?

My skin hurts what does that mean. I have it every month during my fertile period two days before ovulation. The pain on the skin is on a different place every time. Sometimes it's complete half right or left of body. Now it's the lower back on the right. It's very strange touching the skin lightly or with clothes is hurting. I have endometriosis.

I was diagnosed with Pcos 21yrs ago it has affected my fertility never been pregnant before even after ovarian drilling 19yrs ago. Ovulation pain is the only way I know when I ovulate and I experience all what you said even pain with bowel movements, nausea and breastfeeding tenderness how do you reduce the pain?

Hi Kay stevens I’m suffering ovulation pain from 5 to 6 days in very month . In a day 3 to 2 times getting pain. The pain length is 5 to 10 minutes.what the problem can you please help me.

Ok so can u experience ovulation pain even if u dont have pcos or endometriosis? This is the first time im experiencing this mid cycle period like pain. I had very light spot tht was very minimal. Then after this symptom, the very next day, i have been experiencing this periods like pain and lower back pain (sometimes but mostly just period like pain). Its been two days the pain has decreased but i wanted to ask did ovulation already occur when i spotted or am i still ovulating because the pain is still there?

My educated guess would be inflammation. I get bowel pain too during ovulation.

Thank u for this I always have pain in the middle and now I know why and yes I also have endometriosis fibroids and had 2 d and c doses from having polyps I'm currently taking herbal teas now and will be setting a doctor's appt really soon❤

I felt the egg release but previous and post that i had soreness around the ovary and hip area... it hurts to move.. i tried to talk to my obgyn last time i was there and she said she couldnt feel any endometriosis in my lower abdominal area...

Well my pain last for 2 days normally, and goes away after I ovulate. I also check with ovulation tests and I know that I am actually ovulating.But this month was weird because I felt the pain for 5 days, not so intense and in ovulation day more intense. Anyway I find it very weird

If it IS from ovulation it doesn’t have to be on the same day as you get a positive, it can be couple days before or after

@@ericagilbert3477 Hi Erica, I also feel ovulation pain every cycle. Only for couple of hours max 4 hours. Normally night time. Next day I feel it hurts like sore, but after 24 H I feel completely okay. Yesterday I had an IUI. OMG! an hour and a half later I started cramping soooo bad, worse that my normal ovulation cramping. I threw up, I felt about to faint, and extremely weak until next day in the morning I woke up good, but I'm still feeling a light pain on my ovary still. So you said you feel ovulation pain straight for two days?

Yes, thats is the sighn of ovulation. It starts like few days before actual ovulation last during ovulation and some days after ovulation
